The Rock n Rolla Posts: 70 Group: Members Member #98 Joined: Aug 14, 2009	Just got an order through from Heresy miniatures, and they are beautiful Here are some pictures. Sorry that they are so blurry, I was in a rush! The heresy minis are much better than my photography skills: These are the new heresy sculpts that I got in the sale, all converted except the minigunnner as I have to build up some steam to mess with such a lovely figure... And here is the whole group together, there will be a couple more mohawks whenthey are done, i'm going for a real 80's raider stereotype with these fellows. I'm waiting on a weapons order from The Assault Group to finish them. Ak47, Thompson, STEN and some Lee Enfields to replace the more futuristic guns. Just a taster! The ones in the pictures are all converted except for the minigunner, and thats just temporary. The other heresy fellows have both had headswaps and the one with the knife has been changed from a diving pose to running. They are also billed to have backpacks and floppy disks around their person, for an EM4 feel. The other minis have been puttied, had weapon swaps, had mohawks added and bags/jewelry as well. I also tear up their clothes a lot as the foundry ones are to clean cut for my apocalypse.

Often championed as freedom fighters and defenders of the common wastelander, these are the direct descendents of a group of military forces that survived the Great War in a bunker under the mountains. Although their shelter has long been abandoned as supplies ran dry and the population grew, they form a close-knit group of wastelanders who continue to wear the worn and repaired armour of their ancestors. The assault rifles and other weapons issued to the military were state of the art before the War. Now, however, they are extremely rare as wear and tear have taken their toll on the deadly yet delicate weapons that were hidden in the bunker. The Troopers have been forced to rely upon the basic but sturdy weapons manufactured in the wastes, and anything more elaborate that they happen to stumble across. There is one notable exception to this, however. The bunker was equipped with tactical battlefield nuclear weaponary, that may still be functional as it has been religeously preserved by the Troopers in the event that the apocryphal "commees" should ever threaten the "youkay" again. Couldnt resist a bit of a fluff explosion there These are the first of 8 troopers, these 4 will be the shieldwall to protect the 4 longarm toting marksmen (armed with stens, lee enfields and tommys when the TAG order arrives). The base miniatures are copplestone troopers, with the guns painstakingly cut away and replaced with chainsaws, pistols and riot shields. I'm really enjoying these conversions, a lot of things will come together when the weapons arrive I can then paint both the troopers and the raiders, as waiting to finish them has meant that most of the putty work has been done... But there are still those vehicles to finish(perhaps tonight) so who knows Always seems to be one more job to do before they are finished! @LAF. Cheers for the kind words, you might well be right as to my level, I think I am one of the youngest on this board, 23 with about 10 years of modelling behind me. Chris
