Cult Of The Confused- They didn't choose this name for themselves, it's what everyone else calls them. They are a violent would be death cult... Without a deity to devote themselves to. Instead they carry out human sacrifices in the hopes that an evil god will take them up on it. They're still waiting for this. Necromunda Cawdor and Redemtionists. In the fluff, these two groups had the same agenda and beliefs, and the same taste in hoods and masks. Edited by Lost Wanderer, Nov 7 2009, 08:21 PM.

Cult of the confused.... Cool. Looking at the robes they could be a dedication to the cult of the purple helmet!

New Londinium Corporation. NLC Peacekeepers. Just after the vaguely remembered disaster, the NLC was formed by an alliance of Government ministers and powerful corporate executives, who have walled off much of the the relatively untouched and still wealthy central London and created their own city within a city, unimaginatively called "The City". For the average Nu Londoner outside "The City", the Peacekeepers are the most visible aspect of the NLC. As a cross between police and military forces, they are responsible for enforcing the corporation's laws and when the time comes for a corporate redevelopment, they are the ones who will forcibly evict anyone from the NLC's chosen site, putting them into violent conflict with Nu London's settlers and gangs. A mix of EM4 Copplestone troopers and the newer Copplestone Castings troopers. These guys make up two smaller squads of six, each with a sarge and heavy machine gun. As the big bad corporation, I'll have to give the NCL some more specialised squads and I've got some Warzone Imperial troopers WIP to use as a special forces/heavy infantry squad. May also throw in some corporate babes for the more photogenic side of the NLC. |

Blue Bandits- One of many small gangs fighting for supremacy in Nu London's crumbling ghettos. These boys wear their gang colours openly with pride and don't care who knows it. Camoflague is for wimps, or so they'll tell you. The ruined remains of a block of flats is where the Bandits call home. The classic style Necromunda Orlocks. These guys were my main gang in Necro who've been about four different colour schemes in the years I've had them. |

More great stuff. I am glad to see that I am not the only one who keeps repainting minis to suit his current gaming needs. Your world has a great level of detail. Do you use real locations as inspiration? For MBW I use maps and notes to keep record of all the factions. I did think of moving all of them into one big city as I did back in my Babylons Burning Liverpool campaign years back. |

A lot of my PA stuff is either repainted from my Necro days, or gained from rummaging through second hand/bring & buy type sales. If you're ever at one of the game shows, try and find Gateshead Gaming, a great source of reasonably priced 2nd hand stuff. As for my world, I use real life London (with other things thrown in as and when) as a lot of my inspiration. Living on the often neglected south of the river seems to be good inspiration for all things PA. |

Zed, the troopers did come out a bit flatter than I'd have liked, and I can't JUST blame my photography skills. Perhaps I should have gone for a bit more variety in the colour scheme than dark blue, darker blue with blue wash (I forget the "official GW approved" names). |

DOES your NU LONDON have a problem with tidal flooding due to global warming as well? are RUTGER HOWAR, KIM CATRALL, and DICK DURKIN roaming around looking for SATANIC cultists and the RAT/DEVIL/THING FROM HELL? i cannot remember the title of this PA movie, but it has KIM in all of her glory, as well as RUTGER, and DICK. all in all a very good PA movie with civilization slowly sliding into chaos. anyway good stuff! In my jumbled up ever changing vision of Nu London, I have yet to decide what the cause of the big bad apocalypse actually is/was. Mind you, they're always worried about the Thames flooding, and I am right by the river. I'll have to google this movie Dawgie. Sounds interesting. |

I like what you've done with the minis. You've successfully taken the Necromunda out of them. @Dawgie If I'm not mistaken, I think the movie you're refering to is Split Second. I've been looking for a copy for some time. |

Thanks. I'll always have a soft spot for Necro, but I wanted to mix these minis with less overly futuristic ganger stuff like Copplestone and Foundry, for a more street/urban look (even taking into account some bizzare fashion styles). So it's a case of cherry picking the ones that have more contemporary weapons (or stuff that's generic looking enough to pass off, like a lasgun) rather than power armoured guys with melter guns and bionic arms. |

Well, Necromunda is the ruleset we use, but our games have grown way beyond the setting. It's hard to ask players to change rules when some of them only come to town about every 6 months or so. |

SPLIT SECOND is the correct answer! good solid movie, very atmospheric, sugar and caffeine driven heroes always searching for bigger guns, good looking babe, good supporting cast, good special effects, and a PA monster that would make MAD MAX wet his pants! DAWGIE |

Hay! I saw Split Second recently. I was looking for Salute of the Jugger, another Ruetger Hauer move with a bad ass PA setting. Good collection of factions LW. I think Zeds suggestion of the army dipper is prime. Don't worry about the fact you used a limited pallet, the factions still retain their seperation. But do try the army dipping method. I know it's scary but i've seen some great results. |

Thinking about what we were saying about 'dark lining' figures giving a really good 'comic book art' effect - this fella has done it really well: http://www.lead-adventure.de/index.php?topic=14988.0 http://www.lead-adventure.de/index.php?topic=14992.0 |
