Heh... Those are nice figs. Might just have to give a Mordheim slayer gang a try ![]() Hmm, LAF... You're always going on about how great 15mm is and how nice it is on the pocket... 6mm! Beat that

Hey Boot I like 6mm scale. The first miniatures game I ever seriously PLAYED was Battle Tech, with Clan mechs and Elementals. I also played GW's Epic back in the day, which is 6mm. I have even done some 6mm sculpting. LAF |

Heh... My main sci-fi fix at the moment is Dirtside II. There are some great minis hiding in that range. |

Yes there are some goodies in there buddie. I am keen on all scales to be honest. 15mm scale gives me the DRAMMA AND ACTION look that I want, and the EPIC story driven games too. Thus I see 15mm as being the good middel between 6mm and 28mm. You know what I mean? LAF |

Hmm... How about 20mm? That is a hell of a lot more popular than 15mm, and quite an extensive range too. Mainly historics though. Or 10mm? ![]() The point here is there is no perfect scale

True buddie, but the thing is...there are about a Million buildings and vehicals for 15mm scale in the model train world. Since I am doing an Apoc world, it works out great for terrain. I agree also about the smaller scales, 10-15-20 are very much the same, but again, the vast sellection of HO scale goodies for game terraine is the final deal setter for me. LAF |

As HO scale is technically about 1/87th its arguable if its a better fit for 1/72nd/20mm or 1/100th/15mm figures... Also, OO is still more popular/common in the UK, and that's 1/76rd - which is definately a perfect fit for 20mm stuff. ![]() |

Very true. As I said in an early post to Danny, there is the variation in scale and thus the Fun of the hunt. You can find goodies at Wal Mart, but then here there are a few good model shops too. Here in the states, we have this Model Train Hobby. You guys are from the Toy Soldiers history, which were used in real statagies of war. We had a complete western culture based around the building of rail lines and horses. Thus or big hobby is (still) model train building. Even with this, you still have to look a bit, becuase there is variation in scale from 1 company to another. It is part of the fun I think. Of course we are nuts...lol. The last time I purchased about half a dozen Hot Wheels cars, the lady at Wal Mart ringing me up smiled at me....and I smiled back and said; "Yeah, they are for me." I have often cuased many an eye brow to raise in a little Mom 'n Pop Model Train Shop...lol...when I told them what I was going to do to the nice little plastic house I had just purchased...how it would serve as a fine place of shelter from Zombies... Which of course was in their minds the wrong way for me to use the model. LAF |

I'll repeat this in another thread, but in my lack of paints I've decided to get stuck into building and basing the rubbish I have laying around everywhere. So in amongst that I have these five Enforcers all freshly based:![]() The existing paint scheme wasn't my handy work, though I plan to keep the colours very similar but darker yet more colourful as the black will become a blue black etc etc. |

I was going to get some yesterday, but after being stuck in a waiting room with two feral kids for an hour and a half then in the doctors office for another half hour I was ready to kill, so we drove home. |

Yeah it's a passable paintjob for a rough and guts club scene, but for me, and the fact my toys only come out once or twice every year.......

Yeah but there's only so much discipline you can give an autistic child before it starts to become pointless and cruel...
It probably averages out to once a month. |

Yeah, but only the things he wants to do, and he's as stubborn as all hell (gets that from his mother ). He is a good kid, but even good kids go a bit feral when they're tired.
