so here is some stuff i have been working on recently.

WELL....the minis came just three days after i ordered them. they came in a very protective and padded envelope and where only 18P POSTAGE!!!!!
they where the cleanest sculpts (HAND ON HEART) i have ever seen in metal, the detail is EMENSE and they have extreme character. i wouldn't be lying in saying i have seen 28's less detailed than this.
they look shoter than normal 1/72's or 20mms as they lack the ussual THICK base tab.
i cannot wait to see how these paint up.

WHY 20MM you ask? ..... because its bloody cheaper!!! :P

Thanks for looking
C&C welcome as ussual.

Beeautiful! :O Saw those on LAF and was drooling, the rest of those Elheim miniatures are also very nice (I must admit to being fond of their soviets..)
What sort of establishment are we looking at? For the name that is?
That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange æons even death may die

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
Then you don't understand the severity of the situation!

well i thought of
"dead good comics" for a comic shop or "the blunt tool shed" for a hardware store but neither have that....X factor. lol. if i do a comic shop i'm going to edit wolverine and another character into the two sides of the sign.

I'm off in ten to base the new minis, as soon as this sale is over and i have enough money for my computer then i can buy more zombies.......AWESOME>

My new trick for eyes -- at least the iris/pupil area -- is to use a push-pin. Dab the point in the paint then very carefully poke the mini in the eye. If you need more coverage, use an old one with a dull point, or file down the point a bit to make a larger contact area.

Take a couple of deep breaths before you go in for the poke, it helps steady your hands lol.

Good use of Caesar miniatures plastics.....I've been wondering about using the partisans.

My first attempt at making some zombies.....converted Celts.

Looking Good! Those Zombies do look nice. I never paint eye's on mini's really, unless they're reptillian or bug like for example.

Is it me or has Zedmaster gone a tad "DAWGIE like" in his first post? ;)

Side note for those wanting to do 20mm conversions.....GZG 15mm figures have large heads, in some cases VERY large heads, which work very well with 20mm figures.

Since you usually get 2 of each figure I used some spare figures to try it out......works best with the not-Stargate humans and the newest figures (armed civilians, security etc), but most more them are a little over sized and work well with the Caeser Miniature sized bodies (in some cases they are larger than the original heads).

Heads that are half the size of the torso, and faces that look like a mud pie, does not a cool figure make.
 :WTF:
