The setup:![]() Here is Foocoo's lot lounging around the well (ring of rocks). The plants are off in the wood looking for recruits while Blackie and Stretch are spending some quality time in the ruins (girls need some privacy). ![]() The initial jump off for Mikey and Dawgie. The fight After some quiet skulking in the woods in front both gangs were in a position to drop the hammer on the Stains. Rifle fire from Dawg and laser fire from Mikey managed to knock down both Foocoo and Roach early on. When the rest of the Stains closed in (around the 4th turn) some judicious plasma grenade work from Princess and Pepper and careful fire from Nikki had suddenly left a large hole in Foocoo's roster ![]() Foocoo (finally on his feet) and Centauri found themselves faced by several attackers and wisely began a retrograde. Meanwhile Bonzo had dispatched Bogster in a wild bit of dice rolling. By the time Woody got out of the wood Princess and Gordo had come over to help Bonzo. The 3 of them engaged Woody but could only push him back. ![]() By this time Foocoo had gotten out of range of Dawg and Dusty so they went over to help with Woody. A shot from Dusty knocked Woody down and allowed the 3 melee types to wail on him again. As this was happening Mikey got off a lucky shot that knocked Foocoo down (Centauri had left the table the previous turn) Foocoo's thrashing around trying to stand up allowed the rest of Mikey's crew to jump him. Just before they did Dawgie had joined his 3 buddies and finally finished off Woody. (It's easy to ko a prone figure in melee) ![]() In the end it was Mr. Boom that finally did away with Foocoo. His size 18 steel foot communed with Foocoo's head (think of stepping on a grape) and it was all over. All in all it was a good day - Dawg and Mikey had no casualties and split a nice haul of loot!

Now I know why Foocoo's lot were called "STAIN"! And poor Foocoo just fractions of an inch from getting off board too. I'm sure once his kin folk hear about what has happened they'll come out of the woodwork looking for revenge. Thanks for the After Action Report and the pictures too! What ruleset did you use Mikey? |

LOL! WAY to go MIKEY! beat the snot out of the STAINS! no prisoners! kill them all is the only way to be sure! LEMME think a bit. BLACKIE, STRETCH, MUSCLES and CENTAURI were all converted and repainted clix from various lines. ROACH was a converted EM-4 plastic ganger. with those particular clix toys, cutting and re-gluing using TESTORS model airplane cement was a dream job. i remember MUSCLES was a paramedic originally, and STRETCH was a pistol packing vampire BABE (look close and you will see her fangs barely showing). both from superhero lines. the SPACE COWBOY goes all the way back to the 1970s and ARCHIVE MINIATURES. i thought i sent MIKEY MEAN MIGUEL his sombrero wearing space vaquero sidekick, too, but apparently i did not do so. DUH! i think MEGA MINIATURES has the entire ARCHIVE SCI FI line back in production now days. DAWGIE, ASSISTANT STAIN REMOVER . . . |

BLACK is the original paramedic clix with a gun added, and is painted up in black as homage to CLAUDIA BLACK, the woman miner in PITCHBLACK. the GREEN SLIMEY looking thing i cannot remember anything about. DAWGIE |

I used Mutants and Death Ray Guns from Ganesha. It is a nice system - simple and very flexible. I especially like the figure activation - you can try to get a figure to have 3 actions per turn. You roll a d6 for each - if you roll the figures Q value (humans are 3, mutants 4) or higher that action succeeds. If you roll 2 failures you turn ends. Makes for some tough decisions at times

Aye I know it well, but I find I have to be in the mood for MDRG. I have to agree though the activation system does throw all sorts of chaos into the mix.
