Wandering through the wastes they found a concrete column. Quickly they added ladders and a platform. ![]() Only one pic of this. The others where over exposed. It is a couple of bits of poly and balsa/coffee stirrer platform. The ploy is covered with watered down PVA and fine sand to make it gritty. CC welcome. |

Right here is the finished Stalker watch tower. Who's first to go up it? This tower is a home made tower, what else can you use a giant concrete post for? ![]() See marked one posing whilst some Freedom idiot stands watch (you will see why he is a little daft in the head later). ![]() Yup THATS the reason why.....its leaning at a dodgy looking angle. ![]() This poster I got from a STALKER fan site....the man is the trader from Cordon, Sidovitch. The slogan reads Stalkers Sidovich Needs You!. Or something like it. ![]() How much vodka do you need before trying to climb those home made ladders? |

Much better now! You need to do up a heap more random upright concrete pillars, sort of like a forest of them. |

That's a thought. I did think about making one with 4 pillars in a rectangle or square, all broken with concrete in between them like the central pillar of a sky scraper. |

It's a thought I had when I first saw the tower in WIP, I don't know if it'd look good, but there's something about the idea that appeals. |

Looks Good! Maybe the addition of a few guide ropes from the edges of the platform to the tower? |

DEFFO ought to consider making some more wrecked concrete columns of various height and some rubbled bases to go with this brownpants watchtower! MINIME would not climb up into that tower even if little lead MILLA JOVAVITCH was waiting up there with a bottle of vodka and an air mattress! DAWGIE |

If I would ever get off my ass and build something I had given thought of creating a section of an elevated roadway that hasn't collapsed and a town is built on it. It would be fairly secure by being off the ground and the comers and goers, patrols, and farmer type folk could be lowered in a jury rigged elevator contraption. |

Schro - its a thought. I will have a look at it later. Dawgie - what if Milla was to throw in a pair of handcuffs? Tinker, thats a cool idea. There is something similar in Fallout 3, without the elevator. There is also another shanty under another raised road way. I guess they dont have to worry too much about rain....just the few hundred tons of concrete above them.

NOPE! too dangerous up there! A NEWTON says "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". a little enthusiastic "push-push" and the whole shebang comes a tumbling down! DAWGIE waiting on the ground for MILLA with air mattress, vodka, handcuffs, and other assorted playthings . . . |
