28 Days Later; A UK abandoned building forum

Basically a bunch of UK nutters break into places that are abandoned or disused and take photos. It is mainly UK buildings and there is lots of inspiration on there. There are some places that are in ruins too. I discovered several of the disused docks not far from my home and lots of interesting little historical titbits. There are some tunnels to0. Pretty cool site. Check it out. 28 Days Later

Administrator Posts: 3,642 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jul 22, 2008	There is a section on ROC posts - Royal Observer Core Listening outposts (they watched for things like electromagnetic pulses, seismic vibration and radiation levels during the cold war). They are largely abandoned now. Pretty cool to look at if you like cold war stuff. I think my obbession with Stalker and industrial terrain is due my childhood in Liverpool (there are quite a few Liverpool sites listed). The city was a wasteland of abandoned industrial, warehouse and dock buildings ranging from the 1700's onwards.

They arrange guided tours of Nuclear bunkers, railway tunnels that sort of thing. they also publish a great magazine. In the past there has been amazing articles and pictures.
