i thought that the season was spring coming on to summer with not much weather but blistering heat. the latest reports were about 6 months ago right before we lost one of the crews without any signs of where they went. the reports talked about a fairly new town that is fairly hospitable to every one but they have also sorts of riff raft their like con men, thieves and extortionists. their was also a large organized gang of military people called the G.B.E. going through they might still be their or not. |

SORRY GUYS, got side tracked with chores for a bit (laundry, take out the trash, clean house, do dishes, etc, etc, all of that batch stuff that is sooo time consuming etc. FIRST UP- is RUSSELL still with us? last i knew he was snoring in camp doing his best to cause a R-5 earthquake. . . . who, where, what are we being shot at by at our cozy little rest stop? or is it a wastelands electrical storm, thunder wind, and rain storm (normal rain,acid rain maybe?) that we think is someone trying to blow us up? none of us have been OUTSIDE before so this is a possibility. I don't know about Russell - I'll give Oliver a poke about it next time I see him online on Facebook... As for the others - either work for me. I think it would be better if it was freak wasteland weather (fits into the storyline more cleanly); either way the 'explosion' wasn't dead on us, but a little way off . |

SHAME, BUT GOING IN A BLAZE OF GLORY IS THE WAY FORWARD! i found myself sitting around this evening listening to CHRISTMAS music, and thinking that maybe RUSS had been bitten by some wateland badnews we did not know about, that put RUSS in in a deep sleep like "sleeping sickness". that way we could drag him along to a "civilized place" with an experienced wastelands doc, that could examine RUSS, determine the problem, and treat him/care for him (naturally we foot the bill) until or if KFC decided he wants to come back and play some more. if he still wants to croak, well, the badness wotzit that bit him will eventually cause his death, but until then, he has a PC still in the adventure, that can "recover" and rejoin us or whatever. I like that idea DAWGIE - It would certainly fit in thematically with him not waking up! The best I could come up with was that he'd either died in his sleep (a bit lame, I know) or that he'd poped some sleeping pills before going to bed, taken the wrong ones (heavy duty tranqs) and thus couldn't wake up. After that... I was thinking he might drown in all the rain (maybe be swept away by a sudden surge?). I didn't post weither of them as they didn't seem like the best ideas...! |
