Project STALKER minis wip; assorted minis and conversions

Administrator Posts: 3,715 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jul 22, 2008	So for my project STALKER minis this is what I have so far...all under coated and ready to paint. Okay this guy has a Stalker feel but he is for Scav town in the Brittannia wastes. A couple of bandits. a lone stalker A couple of stalkers - Ghost is on the left and Wulf on the right. My first Mercenary. This guy is a stalker from the Freedom faction.

Administrator Posts: 3,715 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jul 22, 2008	The Scav city guy is a EM4 plastic trooper with a Ironpig Kolony rebel head, a bren gun off a toy and a greenstuff cloak and hood. The bandits are minis from a near future cops and robbers set - I am afraid I cant remember who made them but I didnt like them as the heads where too big. They got Ironpig kolony heads. Same with the lone stalker and merc. The 2 stalkers are both em4 plastic troopers with Ironpig kolony heads. The two pistols is from the em4 command set and he has a PPSh41 submachine gun (my fave of all time). It has a hood and cloak. The guy on the right had the commanders SMG and knife and a hood. The freedom guy is from Ramshackle games - "Sneaky Mike".

Administrator Posts: 3,715 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jul 22, 2008	Yeah, the gas masks remove all traces of humanity dont they. I have some more CZ plastic ganger conversions planned. I will also use up what metal heavy weapon bodies I have too. Some will have stock heads but with hoods and lower face masks. There is at least one more bandit. What else I am looking for is demin jacket or smok/combat jacket wearing minis. Men and women. The lower level stalkers wear leather jackets that resemble demin jackets. Any ideas?

Posts: 485 Group: Members Member #48 Joined: Sep 27, 2008	Thought i had mentioned this to you, looks like i haven't TAG Russian Teerorist They also do some russian mafia, but i do not think they look the part personally.... Oh and TAG also do a great amount of weapons. Oh and they look great! But get out of my i was thinking of using those rather fine looking EM4 troopers as stalkers too! This one is a EM4 Scav with no conversion work. A Merc. A Merc leader. A em4 trooper with a mask sculpted on him. I may add further detail to it. I think the body armour needs a couple of blending washes and some damage too. A bandit A busty bandit chick.

A new head and hood he makes a good entry level stalker esp with his old rifle. This Prince August sci fi cop/trooper has been languishing at the bottom of my minis box for ages. He makes a pretty good Scientist guard from stalker - especially as he is carrying a SA80-ish bull pup assault rifle - the preferred weapon of the scientists guards. Thats why he is in a you have been Tangoed coloured suit! Bandit leader - I got him from ebay I guess he is a foundry street violence mini. Head swap and hood conversion. Finally a EM4 scav with a added mask. I am not too sure what faction to add him too. Loner Stalkers or Bandits. There is more coming too. I have a Necro Delaq ganger bargain I got on evil bay. He will be another bandit. Two hooded Copplestone Neo Sov snipers came my way (another evilbay bargain). Very stalkerish without having to do any work. One will be a sniper from the Freedom Faction and the other maybe a sniper from the mercs.

A few RAFM offerings that may be handy.. Eastern Blok Weapons; Terrorist set (8 AKM's, 1 RPG-7, 1 Leader) Might be good for mercs or military stalkers And, just because. She may be better for other projects, but I like her!:

The bandit leader is coming along great guns, and yes Xander - this little lot should be finished by the time you come up.

I will do a deep bits box mooch for additional bits to customise them further. The guy with the GL will get a PPSh SMG (I picked the GL as they have one in the game). The real fun will be painting the freedom wolfs head on the pads! Of course anarchy symbols are a must too (as they are referred to as Stinking Anarchists by Duty).

I know there are lots of them but they are a real pain in the outer areas of the zone. The far left one is a EM4 plastic ganger, she did have cultist robes which I have reworked into a coat. The guy next to her is a Necromunda conversion. Hood and mask added. The middle guy is a EM4 plastic ganger with a heavy weapons torso. I added a mask to the face. Although you cant see it too well he sports a MP5. The next guy is another EM4 plastic ganger with a WW1 gas hood head and a hood added. He has EM4 trooper command set arms. The guy on the far right is another EM4 ganger that is a ex-cultist reworked into a coat. He got a mask too. Finally the start of my Duty squad. They are all EM4 troopers with Kolony rebel heads. The left two sport heavy weapons and the right one a MP5 from the EM4 command set. There will be more Duty guys once my sci-fi bull pup rifles arrive!
