Im probably going to mount them in 3s, mainly because ive run out of single bases and they seem a little small by them selves.

Fair enough... I just picked up from Ebay 100 25mm slotta bases for 2.5 quid. Nice steal :) So I won't be short anytime soon.
I like the diorama effect you've managed to achieve with the three on the base. Now hurry up and finish getting it based. Then you've got 21 others to do too :P

When you next photograph them, could you throw something in for scale. Something GW maybe? So a cadian or a space marine.

I like the look of zombies mounted together in groups - it always conveys more of the 'horde' feel to me! (There was a bloke over on the LAF that based up units of ~100 zeds, which he used as shuffling terrain to start hemming players in, but also as 'spawn points' to continue adding zeds into the game)

Woah! Just woah! It's been great catching up on this thread. Excellent work MC. Really got me wanting to get out my brushes as usually. Think i'll have to paint something tommorrow.

Love it keep it coming. The robo spliced trooper has got me thinking i should try something like that to. You're a damgerous man MC. :) Living up to the honour of the 100th member!

FOR some bizzaro reason i cannot make out any detail in the photos; all i get is a very dark screen!

Mmm... He's known as Commander Viper on LAF but on other forums he's Acula. Great little set up he's got for himself. His 3 horde bases are something like 47, 35 and 25. They are nice and chunky looking. Best zombie inspiration ever.
Linky... Zombies!

That guys awesome, one day if I can ditch the wife and kids I want a gaming table like that.

I only got one done today as it was my eldest s birthday and apparently its rude to sit in my "study" and paint zombies when we have company round ^o)
so here's a zombie valet im not too pleased with his head, some of these WF zombies lose all their detail when you get a layer of paint on them. theres also a cadian in shot for scale. OK for hight but they just seem a little slight.

Looking nice.
It just bugs me that one in six minis has a foot in it's left hand. Makes them look kinda silly. That should have been an optional right arm piece.

I'll never understand how hiding away from people you don't want to spend time with can be rude. Silly women -_-

Yeah I think the next ones with the foot will have to be modified, maybe one holding a can of lager, one with a newspaper, perhaps one with a banner saying zombies are people too.

At least that hand with the foot is on a sleeved arm. Makes it extremely easy to cut the offending hand off and replace it with a different one.

A little extra work, but worth it for the reduced sillyness.

I like how you convert 40K miniatures Monkeychild. They use all good details of basic miniature but dont have 40K feel anymore ( I was huge fan of 40k some time ago but I think GW miniatures have such strong identity that I could not use them without atleast slight conversion) :work:

Quick update, Ive got 3 more finished, i did these mid week and should have 3 more to put up tomorrow. Its also taken in my big amera house, which frankly Ive wasted far too much time on. I decided to paint tiles and floor boards, it was not fun :(|:s:

Ta muchley.

A GP referral course is just an addon qualification to be ablt to train people with various disorders MS, hypertension, diabetes. None of the instructers who did it really wanted to be on the course, we prefer doing programs for nubile young ladies rather than morbidly obese walking heartattacks, but it was free so I cant really complain.
I jus got my case study to do now. :'(
