From the CMON shop.

He might even make a crazy wasteland wanderer with a bit of imagination!

Yeah, certainly amongst the more artsy miniature painters... the sutff on OzPainters and CMON is mind-blowing these days. I definitely don't see it as a bad thing!!!

Fantastic left shoulder pad which looks like the base of a tree. All of CMON's minis are resin aren't they?

Man, too bad I don't have a gaming group.. he'd be great for the guy who wants to play a Hippi-err, Druid.

Actually, he'd probably fit in nicely with your average cult, or act well as a Shaman/Druid for a primitive tribe. Then again, it's easy to justify any purchase when you want to.

My first thought was to use him as a shaman type figure. I might have to acquire one for a conversion I want to do. :D

Its for another character in the Brittannia wastes. He lives in a small fortified village (need a name for this place) and he is well known in Squeena City (to the south) and as far north as Scav Town (his Father helped the Scavs build the town in the ruined industrial area). This wandering hero is called Sham and has a wild dog side kick (the doggie has no name - why? Ask Sham...he says "Animals do not call themselves by names, so why should I call him by one?").

Sham is a Psi-er and he is the wasteland shaman. It is said that Sham can see through animals eyes and talks with demons.

Sham is a constant pain to the towns leader as he vanishes without notice for days on end. To put a stop to this she hired a tough Merc, who at first thought Sham was a loon but has seen too much weird stuff now to realise there is more. Sham and the Merc are now firm friends, but the Merc often curses as Sham gives him the slip too. More than once the Merc (still need a name for him) has caught up with Sham meditating in a mutant field or in the middle of North Port (which is a ghoul and zombie haunted set of ruins).

Sham's name is known as far south as Brittannia City and as far north as the Iron Tower ruins. His adventures have taken him as far south as the Liberty Wastes and up north to the Pictselands.

You know this is the basic background I was going to use in a novel. Who knows getting him in miniature might fuel some writing.

Ah - righto! I knew you were planning on the novel, but you never outlined the plot in that much detail. It sounds to me like Sham is rather like a certain Mr Stevenson I know. I'll have a think about names for the Merc & Shams village...

Actually, I thought you might throw him in with your Pictish-looking chaps Danny. Seemed like he'd be a good fit there.

A semi-lone wander works well too.. just need to find the right model for a dog-buddy, if you don't have one yet.

Knowing me I will end up converting one of my lead n plastic pile to suit the character. :D

My Pictises need a bag piper/poet (low grade psiker). So I am looking for something to convert, I want the bag material to be the skin of a giant mutant rat (perhaps I should call them Rat pipes). The poems and pipe playing are so bad it causes fear or terror! :D Actually they have wytches as most of their women folk are natural pyskers. :witchdr: They have war chieftains (usually the hero) but the real rulers are their tirbal queens (known as Sheela Na Nig) who are big on psionics. The pictises have warrior women too who mix psi with fearsome weapon skills. Oh dont try your luck if you ever capture one.....they conceal a blade in intimate places..... :scared: (on a side note this is a historical fact for the warrior women of the British isles in Roman times...the name for such blades is now a slang/swear word for the female genitalia starting with a C).
