Merc Posts: 636 Group: Members Member #79 Joined: Apr 18, 2009	Actually the first vehicle to start my convoy is a VToL drop ship for Aryanriech Vault. It started out as a GZG Mantis AI operated Gunship. I added a crew compartment to it's rear. I may still keep it as a slave vehicle that the leader of the mission has control. And name it something like; Autonomous . Slaved . System. As you can see A.S.S. does have a rather large rear end. I just used bits left over from a Leman Russ to do the doors.

Merc Posts: 636 Group: Members Member #79 Joined: Apr 18, 2009	Here is another pic of the Dropship with an Aryan Trooper next to it. I made the doors waaaay too small. I'll fix that up shortly. An Aryan Drone. This little fella will be a bit of a badass. I expect other factions infantry to be taking cover inside buildings where this guy can't go. It an Infinity Drone. Had to put this guy to use. So sexy. This is the '69 Camero i've been going on about called, "The Bitch". Made some Post Apoc mods to it. I'll try and faint some free hand stuff on the hood. All these matchbox cars will be used for the Buckeroos Gang faction, the late Scavs that looked to badass to be scavs. Match Box cars are a bit big. But if i keep them to one faction it should be fine. The '80s SWAT vehicle. This guy will get a Mini-gun, and maybe some extra plate armour. "Old Betsy", she'll be a Gang member transporter. Think i'll leave her just as she is, unless anyone objects. Of course i'll paint her though. Had to get one of the GZG 8 Wheelers. This will be for the as yet elusive New Eden Vault City.

Yeah a great drone for a Rigger. Could even serve as a Yellow Jacket if you know what they are from Shadowrun. May require some conversion work to use it as a Yellow Jacket though. I'll be starting on the Dropship today once i fix up the doors.

Made a bit of a start on the Security Vehicle and the A.S.S. Dropship. The Security Vehicle is my first try at rust and weathering after scrutinising everyones elses way of doing rust. I was very worried about it, but i think it will do for now. I did try thr paint shipped methoud the Danny and Lt.brittan had tried but i arsed it up. I left the Dropship fairly neat since it's an Enclave vehicle, but i'm thinking about it. Any tips and comments welcome.

It's based on Mercenaries with a good portion of gear including a few drones and APC's etc. The vehicles are shaping up nicely. Not sure on the rust effect on the security vehicle though, something missing.

Also, on the rust... it looks a little bit symmetrical if you know what I mean. I do rust with watered down Snakebite Leather and dribble it onto different areas. Then you can wipe it off etc. but when it is watered down it has a bit more randomness to it. You could try applying it with a stippling technique or with some blister sponge too.
