I'm after mission ideas, anyone got any? No prior knowledge of the rules required, just general ideas for a post-apoc warband to try to achieve that would fit in with most game settings.

To give you a couple of examples:

Convoy is average difficulty, it tasks you with moving vehicles from one side of the board to the other while enemies of average difficulty attempt to stop you. You get a modest amount of resources for each one that gets to the other side of the board.

Bug Hunt has you exploring buildings which either contain loot, a small number of small bugs or trigger all buildings so far unexplored to spawn bugs. It's of low/medium difficulty and the reward is whatever you find.

So many ideas..... find the difficulty and loot changes depending on the mission and who your up against.

Fuel raid against enclave or corporation - difficult. Trying to break into a well defended position.

Mutant beast hunt....easy...low level of loot. Beasts roam across table. This may be in a paid mission by a local faction.

Water Raid....depends on who and where

Steal Vehicle.....again depends on who and where. Maybe moving, maybe static. Will be well defended.

Scout for supplies.....depends on who and where.

Kill the raider warlord....sneak into camp and kill the top dog. Difficult. Lots of angry raiders.

Attack the raider base....difficult and well defended.

Crippling Preemptive Strike:
One player controls a small, lightly armed force, part of a larger group of similar types. (Say, a tribe.) A larger, much more well-equipped group is threatening the area, and has set up strategic positions. (Controlled by another player.) The larger group is heavily armed and armored, and will easily slaughter the other force in a head-on assault. (Spears won't even scratch power armor.) The underdog has to destroy and/or steal supplies necessary to the larger force without provoking a massive response. Small guerrilla raids, avoiding direct confrontation will be vital. It doesn't matter how well-equipped you are if you don't have food.

Execution:
A gang member/important person/whatev. is being held hostage, and is soon to be executed. A small team is hired/hellbent on getting their bud back, and have to not only get inside a defended area, but keep the target alive, and get them the hell outta' Dodge. Depending on the force, it could be a cakewalk, or it could be a meatgrinder. If the enemies are alerted, or a certain amount of time has passed, the target gets really dead, really quick. Game over, man!

Alamo:
Basic Idea, stay alive for as long as possible against an overwhelming force. Decide the number of turns pre-game, and go with it. If the defender stays alive, let's assume the attackers pull back to re-group and reconsider their strategy, giving the defenders enough time to haul ass, or get on the short-wave for backup.

.. I'll come up with more later.

More ideas:

A enemy gang leader and the remains of their gang are on the run. Can you catch or kill the gang leader? He mustnt get off the table.

Your band of scavengers are new to the ruins. You discover a well set up gang control this turf. You will not be able to stand up to them in a firefight so you need some way to tip the balance of power in your favor. You decide to try scavenging the ruins for parts to make a bomb. As you scavenge you are spotted by a gang patrol. Can you escape before they catch you? Will you get enough bomb parts? This could run onto a game to sneak in and plant the bomb.

A bunker/vault city convoy is en-route. A wastelander gang ambush it. However the convoy is a trap. The trucks are loaded with Bunker Troopers. Who will win the fight?

The convoy lies burning after a vicious firefight. No one won. The dead and wounded lie all around. A Scav crew move in. Grab what you can (Random loot). Some wounded Gangers and Troopers will try to stop you. You should be a match for them. Beware the Bunker re-enforcements will arrive in 6 turns. The real cargo of the Scenario is a wounded woman. If found she will plead with the Scavs to go with them. If they do she is a game winner. The girl is a new bio weapon and will help the Scavs survive. The Bunker City will try to get her back.

Some Scavs take a captured Bunker/Vault VIP with them to their lair. The Bunker troopes are on it and try to take the VIP. Can the Scavs fight them off?

The old Whites yard was piled high with Junk. Such is the home of a gang of Junkers. A Scav gang has broken in and is looking for items to loot. The Junkers spot them. The only exit is covered by the Junkers. Can the Scavs escape?

You and your home built APC are in trouble (old truck with scrap metal welded to it). Four old military APC’s hove into view. They are better equipped and armoured than your old truck. They open fire and miss. Can you take them out of action using smoke screens and diversions? The home built APC should be faster and have a weapon capable of taking out such APC's. It or the crew should be able to lay down smoke to create diversions. Can your crew members dismount to distract the others? Do they have explosives or weapons capable of damaging the APCs? If you survive there will be plenty of loot and salvage in these old pre war battle wagons even if they are a melted hulks of metal.

A trade convoy carrying vital supplies is under attack from a local raiders. The convoy has taken shelter in a old building complex and they are under siege. Can you break the siege and re-enforce them? (Trader and mercs in complex, small squad of elites on table with vehicle(s) and bandits/raiders all over the table).

Bug-Hunt:
Your gang gets hired to deal with an infestation in the local sewers/nearby ruins. It sounds like an easy job, but things go tits up quick.
The opposite player controls 'noise' and 'shadow' tokens; the noises you barely catch when wandering down a dark corridor, and the shadows that seem to move too quickly to be natural.
Each turn, d#(Preference) more tokens are put on the table. When the gang is within, say, 8" of one, the opponent decides whether or not to lay down a critter. He has an unlimited amount of critters to use, so the gang's goal is basically to get out alive. There should be a good deal of loot scattered around to entice the gang in, but he layout should be labyrinthine enough to make escape difficult. Think Aliens or Space Hulk meets Fallout.

I'll try and think up some more later..
