Ha... My thoughts exactly. I had to buy a new set of files a couple of weeks ago and all I could think of was what minis I could have bought :P

Getting there!

Inspired by the wonderful water convoy on LAF, I made a push on a couple of the cars I've been working on for about 4 months, possibly longer. The first two I built have now almost reached the weathering stage! Yay!

And as if to reward my sudden energy, the camera has taken photos that might actually be superior to how they look in the flesh.

They need dust and mud, so I am trawling the net looking for the best technique that does not involve oil paints or chemical thinners, as I am still too poor to siphon money away from the car fund (1/43 cars, that is...)

Hope you all like them! C+c appreciated as my wife is much too supportive to be clinical.

THESE are very nice; in fact i want mine to look this good when i grow up!

seriously my PA stuff too a whuppin' during the last two moves, being nince money makers, but now i have to replace a lot of stuff, vehicles, folks, mutants, monsters, and terrain.

this place is over run with gorgeous painting and modeling, much better than i can do now or that i could do at my very best (before old age hoppened!).

would it be possible for you guys to share some of your projects, leads, models, and terrain with folks over at the landing?

they are nice folks, too, but not as active as here, and i am certain they would enjoy y'all (meaning the whole list's) body of work, and it might even cause some who are dithering to actually shoot through and go PA!

OOOOOPS!

i almost forgot; check model railroading supplies for good weathering and crud to ad to your stuff! those guys have ben doing that since before all of us were born!
