In Colossus: The Forbin Project the US builds a supercomputer called Colossus capable of reacting to any nuclear threat instantly. Shortly after being switched on though the computer detects a previously unknown Soviet system doing the exact same thing. The computers want to talk, and you better give them what they want because they've got their finger on the trigger and there's no off switch..

Poor TV like production and little to really warrant spending time watching again for me. Saw it when I was a teen and it didn't capture my interest.

So it's a rainy afternoon and the cinema is empty when this kid turns up with a little dog under his arm. The cinema manager tells him he can't bring the dog in but the kid really pesters him and begs so in the end he thinks what the hell, there's nobody else in so he lets the kid in with the dog. After a while he starts worrying and goes to check the dog is behaving.

He can't believe it, they're sat watching Harry Potter and the dog is wagging its tail whenever the good characters are on the screen and when the bad guy appears he growls at him and seems to be following the film intently. When the kid gets up to leave the manager says "hey kid, that's pretty amazing - your dog really liked that movie!"

"I know!" says the kid "I was pretty surprised too, he said the book was bland and derivative."
