Remember those horrible cabbage patch dolls? One urban legend says that they were created to prepare people for how their offspring will look after a nuclear war. Sadly, this is bull but you can find this and hundreds of other quite hilarious urban legends and myths over at Snopes.com urban myths you might be quite surprised at which ones are actually real and which ones aren't. For instance did the Texas legislator really pass a bill commending the Boston Strangler (amazingly, yes!) and is it true that insect repellent disables an attacker faster than mace? Loads of pointless trivia to be had here. |
