Wastelander Posts: 161 Group: Members Member #82 Joined: May 15, 2009	I began a Colonial/Zulu War project in 25mm which became a VSF project in 28mm - as a result these guys don't fit with any of my other figures. 25mm Colonial Wars - British (25 painted to a good table top standard the rest base coated unless noted) BC 1 Infantry - Advancing (Light Order) x5 BC 2 Infantry - Standing Firing (Light Order) x11 (one bayonet broken) BC 3 Infantry - Attacking (Light Order) x5 BC 4 Infantry - Kneeling Firing (Light Order) x10 BC 5 Infantry - Marching (Full Pack) x5 (one bayonet broken) BC 6 Officer - Attacking x5 (3 swords broken) BC 7 Officer - Advancing x4 BC 8 Standard Bearer x2 (one pole needs replacing) BC 9 Bugler x2 BC 23 Dismounted Infantry Officer (Felt Hat) x1 BC 24 Dismounted Infantry - Advancing (Sun Helmet) x5 BC 25 Infantry - Lying Firing x4 BC 27 Natal Native Infantry - Advancing x10 (These are Bare Metal) BCC 5 Regular Cavalry Officer x1 BCC 7 Regular Cavalry (Carbine) x3 HBC 3 Horses Standing x4 +3 figures - I have no idea of the manufacturer - two officers and a infantry figure advancing. Total 80 Figures for £16. 25mm Colonial Wars - Egyptian (Bare Metal) EC 1 Fellah Sudanese Askari - Advancing x4 EC 2 Fellah Sudanese Askari Officer x1 EC 3 Egyptian Infantry - Advancing x21 EC 4 Egyptian Officer x1 EC 5 Dervish (Spears) x21 (one spear needs replacing) EC 6 Dervish - Firing x3 EC 7 Dervish - Kneeling Firing x3 EC 8 Fussy Wussy (Sword/Shield) x2 EC 9 Dervish Emir Officer x2 EC 10 Beja-Ben Aourie Warrior x1 ECC 5 Askari Camel Rider x5 HBC 3 Horses Standing x5 Total 69 Figures for £14. 25mm Colonial Wars - South African (Mostly primed, a few with a base coat) CC 1 Boer - Advancing x5 CC 2 Boer - Firing x5 CC 3 Boer Officer x3 CC 6 Boer - Kneeling Firing x5 CC 7 Boer - Laying Firing x5 Total 23 Figures for £5. 25mm Colonial Wars - Zulu (~50% are primed, ~50% are bare metal - some spears will need replacing) ZC 1 u Mbonambi - Advancing x12 ZC 2 u Khandempemvu - Advancing x7 ZC 3 u Gibabanye - Attacking x13 ZC 4 i Ndlondlo - Firing x19 ZC 5 u Thulwan - Attacking x10 ZC 6 i Ndluyengwe - Advancing (Rifle) x14 ZC 7 in Gobamakhosi - Advancing x8 ZC 8 um Cijo - Attacking x13 Total 96 Figures for £20. To make everyone's life easier - the figures are all GFI/Minifigs, the website is here and the prices are about 25% of list.

Total 19 Pieces Retail ~£20, but I'll throw these in FOC to anyone buying the British & the Zulus or the British & the Egyptians. Rorke's Drift anyone?

Raider Posts: 489 Group: Members Member #5 Joined: Aug 3, 2008	If you are unable to sell them... Paint the skin of the Zulus green and call them Venusian Natives? Paint the Boers with green skin and they're Venusian Askari under European leadership? Red (or yellow) skinned Egyptians as Martians - those in native dress are hill Martians and the ones in European military uniforms are Askari? As they're not humans, the height difference can be explained/excused. Always remember that the original Martians in the photos contained within the SPACE: 1889 books were RAFM Elves with different skin color.
