I've got a few people watching these miniatures i've painted so far. Thought i'd put up a post here to. It's not often that i sell my stuff so i'm a little nervous. Not sure if i put the starting price up too high either or if i've put in the correct price for delivery of these guys.

I watched you paint these :(

Fair price I think.

Not to be too nosy, but why are you getting rid of them?

Well, i'm finding it very hard to keep up with the encounters we go through while playing D&D. The 28's are so time consuming. And i don't use these guys for anything else other than D&D so i thought selling them wouldn't be a bad thing. And i was a litttle curious to see what i could get for them.

I'll be keeping my humble collection of Sci-Fi 28's however. But i just don't see a place for these fantasy guys once i get 15's. I'll be keeping the blue baby dragon i painted, he just became and abult in 15mm. The proceeds from these will go to buying a 15 D&D collection.

That sounds fair to me, the more I hear and see of 15's the more I think GW stuffed me up 15 years or so ago.

I doubt i would have started to enjoy this hobby without GW's stellar success. Though getting over tourney-itis and enjoying projects just for...enjoyment...has been good.

And from what i can see of 15's so far, it's never too late to get started. The price of one squad of 28's will get you 2, if not more factions, of 15's. Good if you have an idea for a project that you want to get quickly done. From my limited experience, desire keeps on out running production ability. Eg. abandoned Cyberpunk project.

Ah man, that was a cool project. I saw it on WAU too.

I prefer 28mm to be honest :/ All a matter of taste I guess. I have some 15mm fantasy figures I bought aaaaaages ago and never got around to painting... or using them. They're pretty old.

I (used to) make a lot of terrain for 28mm. It's just a cool scale to work with. But I could probably make more of it in 15mm... I can see the trade off :)

They're all little men at the end of the day. As long as they get painted and make pew pew noises it's all good.

Hehe that was a bit unexpected actually :) Let me dig them out and have a look at them, see what they're worth etc. I think they're old Ral Partha but I could be mistaken.
