I was expecting to have this one done by now. But i've been side tracked a little and put up some graffiti and posters on the other buildings to. Let me know what you think. Especialy if i should put textures on the outside of the buildings.

C-Cat,

I'd have not issues using it! This building looks pretty good interior wise. Exterior too looks good but it "needs" something to break up the large blank wall areas, such a the graffiti begins to on that corner single corner.

I'm not sold on using the stain at all. Stick to just using the Worldworks images on all surfaces and then to add depth actually add some of the details. Cut some sprue to look like down lights on the walls. Add some posters or graffiti over the top of the paper. Be creative :)

+EDIT+
I posted without seeing your most recent post :$
The graffiti looks great. But I still think you need to do something on the outside with paper. Maybe red industrial brick? Or aluminium sliding?

I must admitt - I actually quite like the stained outside. Perhaps with more graffiti, or some rust stains, etc but to my eyes it all looks fine!

Here are the latest mods to the outside. Didn't want to make it too neat and i wanted to leave some stain. Still have some more bricking to do.

@Witchfire. Godd pipe. Where did you get the container?

:coffee: Fantastic set of pictures and very pleasant result.

Inspirational stuff. Good use of ready available paper prints on this building. I realy like the result PLUS you did not lose sight of the fact that this is to enhance gaming and should give opportunities to move through, under over along. your multi-level design adds the 3rd dimension. I see too many buildings that may be fanastic models but end up as a very large box blocking line of sight and movement, adding little to the game. You avoided that trap.

Well done.

Please keep posting the various stages untill it's finished.Very usefull as a tutorial. :bravo:

Looks a hundred percent better. I agree with the decision to leave some stain, the stain gives an organic look to the place.

Thanks for the comments guys, especially the constructive critisim, i'm much happer with the look of the building.

@Tinker I think i was hoping for the wall to look as if the rendered surface had fallen away.

@Hollander Those observations are on the money. The games i play are most definatly skirmish games, even if i start to play larger i do want the complications that hiding inside buildings provides rather than making it an armoured bunker.

This has been on hold a little as i've been geting ready to DM my campaign again for D&D. I painted up some Bugbears that i'll show you guys soon.

For a worn torn and post apoc look the stain looks pretty good to me, but I think it wold be good either way. Nick says you need some dried blood on the walls too.
