Did anyone ever play the Roadkill Warriors mod on Unreal Tournament 2004? It was the absolute nuts, you could race around in tooled up post-apoc vehicles and slaughter each other with some great weapons. I used to be on that game every lunchtime on the work LAN. Unfortunately playing against bots is no fun as they haven't got a clue what to do. I just took at look at their site for the first time in years and it turns out they're remaking it on a different engine. Roadkill Warriors video (Youtube) Here's how the new version will look. It sounds awesome, but alas I never played it. I did play wasteland half-life, and watched the progress of some of the battlefields mods though... |

UT2004 is one of those games I did play with some consistency. I was totally unaware of the mod "RoadKill Warriors" until now... and it's friggin awesome. Definitely going to download and play this one! Thanks for this link!!

Have you got Clone Bandits? It's post-apoc too, you have to drive or run around and take control of pumps that produce more clones (lives) but you can also storm into the other base and make off with a jar full of clones. It's ridiculously good fun and the computer bots understand how to play and are surprisingly sneaky at times.![]() |

Naw, at this particular time I haven't got "Clone Bandits", but I smell another download coming up!! Thanks again for the heads up. If'n I were still on cable instead of DSL I'd invite you to a game. Actually, if you could tell the specific files I'll need to run this it would be of a great help... Edited by Tinker, Jul 17 2009, 08:18 PM.

Man - I missed them both! I used to play UT2004 constantly. It was a firm fave of mine. A PA version would be cool! |

It beats UT3 by a long way. Can't believe a game that now has half a gig of patches STILL loses all your settings every time you change something. No wonder there's no good mods for it, stick with UT2004 that's a classic. |
