More Stalkers for the meat grinder... The first two Duty guys. The thirds arm was a little low so I have reset it. I just picked up some sweet sci-fi bull pup assault rifles from Hasslefree so there will be a couple with them added soon.  Another Bandit.  A Freedom Marksman.  The first two Red Star enclave troopers. An officer and commissar. These will be part of my Neo Sov faction on MBW. |

HMMMMMM. . . . conscript patrols outside and special ops inside . . . . time to fetch SVETLANA (RPK) and (MUMBLE-MUMBLE-MUMBLE under barrel grenade launcher) from the arms locker . . . where are those imported US made AP bullets at? they were here just a while ago. . . . big wet kiss applied to each round of KATYA fodder slipped into loops on body armor, slow sexy caress to the lead round in each SVETLANA mag as it slides into waiting pouches. who to take as a handgun? after much thought, a nice, reliable, use worn M1911A1 named MADCHEN, with extended mag locked into the grip is holstered on the right hip in an equally use worn leather flap holster. ammo pouches designed for extended capacity MADCHEN mags are loaded, then snapped down. nothing like knowing MADCHEN is going along for the walkabout to make a man all warm and fuzzy feeling . . . a use worn GERBER MK II named SLICE and a one piece stainless steel hand axe named DICE are placed in their sheathes after a loving touch. eyeballs his wristwatch, checks over all other needed gear, dons it, then strolls out the door with SVETLANA/KATYA casually resting across one armored shoulder, battered OD campaign hat perched at a rakish angle . . . time to make some money! ready or not, ZONE, here we come . . . . |

Its my own twist - There are military Types in Stalker (Russian/Ukrainian) and the guys on the border are not too good but the elite guys are in the Zone, killing Stalkers on sight. The equivlent on Mattblackworld is the Neo Sov bunker city. However as I just moved the Stalker stuff to its own background and added a further post apoc background and the world is in tatters I decided that surviving military in the are is known as "Red Star". I figure these minis will be used in both game settings. See my Stalker World post apoc setting. Speaking of which my brain has been buzzing with some extra factions for the whole Zoned world! Some old mini recycling coming up. The Stalker world will be modern/ultramodern and near futuristic in feel and Mattblack world will get the Fallout/Nuke Ren/hard sci-fi minis. |

The first of my reworks. These minis received a new slap of paint to bring them into line with my stalker minis. First up some more Mercenaries, as my guys are too few in number and got their asses kicked by a bunch of Rookies, a vet and one hero.  I reused my CZ plastics as they have the same armour as my Stalkers. The fancy lids and weapons show that they have a nice rich sponsor.  This is the first of the Clear Sky faction. This is a small core of vet troops who will accompany Rookies and vet Stalkers deep into the zone to help protect the Monolith from those who would destroy it. Like the faction in the game they wear blue camo and I reworked my old CZ minis. In the next reworks there will be my own addition to my world the SRF (Stalker Reaction Force). A group of mixed nationals who trained for Spec Ops in the Zone to find out what the hell is going on and possibly stop it (without the knowledge or blessings of the countries Authorities). However when the World Wide Blowout happened they where still in Training overseas....despite the state of the Post Apoc world these guys are slowly travelling towards the Zone to try to stop it. Of course during their Travels they train survivors how to tackle mutants and Raiders, and do a spot of hunting of each....with a bit of luck I will have reoworked them by the end of the weekend. They are CZ troopers that already feature a few conversions. I might do a weapon swap or two as well. I will also try to get another Duty Guy made up and convert my "Black Raven" Stalker (If any one has been in 100 Rads bar in the game they will hear a drunk Stalker quoting some poetry - "Black Raven, Black Raven...". I decided that the Zone needed a Stalker called Black Raven). |

OOOOOOH, looks like the ZONE is about to become an even harder place to make a dollar and survive. very nicely done, that man! interestingly enough, i too have RED STAR troopers, but i have left them in their issue AT-43 RED STAR uniforms, just like i have left the AT-43 WHITE STAR troopers in their issue uniforms. i decided the AT-43 rules were not for me, so what use they have seen to date, along with the KARMANS and THERIANS is with THWG CR3.0, ATZ, 5150, etc. at present i am thinking about designing another PA world time line/faction to allow me to use these very interesting, pre-painted soldiers and vehicles alongside my other PA stuff. DANNY, young feller me laddie buck boyo, etc, you and the rest of the guys keep inspiring me to think DEEP THOUGHTS about the PA worlds OUT THERE . . . DAWGIE |

I have played a lot of FPS video games over the years, but F.E.A.R., BIO-SHOCK, and the (brain just switched off on me) game about the exploration and salvage of the distressed planet cracker ship rank up their at the top for creepiness! DAWGIE |
