This is a rant. I went to see the latest Batman film, it was a plotless load of rubbish with no story, 500 weak and meaningless subplots that just end abruptly and have no meaning and a load of stuff crashing or blowing up. Sad, as I like Batman. So I thought don't be put off, go and see T4 - that's sure to be good. Again, no plot but loads of stuff blowing up. Modern cinema is aimed at 12 year old kids for maximum sales and art can go screw itself. Seriously, it would take quite a bit to get me to go and pay full price at the cinema after those two cinematic turds yet most people seem to think they are at leave average, if not great.

Am I the only person who used to love going to the flicks but now finds the whole thing geared up to people whose balls haven't dropped yet?

i have to agree, but that does not mean that all of these movies are terrible such as Up.
it was cheesy and meant for little kids but their were some very cool and funny stuff in their even for a more mature audience.

Compared to the previous "Batman" movies, the latest is the best in my opinion... These movies aren't made to win awards, but to entertain. For my money it was worth the cost of the ticket.
