Merc Posts: 680 Group: Members Member #87 Joined: Jun 17, 2009	WHAT are the names of your PA gangers/raiders, heroes, villains, nomads, settlers, survivors, etc? some of mine are: MANIAX (a fun loving band of psychos whose badge is a full moon , half smiley faced, half sad faced) SMILIN' JAX (raiders whose badge is a yellow smiley face with a bloodied mounth and fangs) DEADHEADS (rogue military, escaped convicts, former urban gang bangers, other assorted scum. badge is a human skull) DEVILDANCERS (marauders of the worst sort, who take over an area, bleed it of all resources, then move on to "greener fields". badge is a red devil playing a fiddle) JOLLY RODGERS ( a band of river pirates and coastal PA raiders whose badge is the tradional black flag with white skull and crossbones) JOLLY BUCCANEERS (this is a wandering gang of cannibals; recruits are screened, initiated into the gang, others are eaten. name has zilch to do with piracy, except for the fact that buccaneers is corrupted from 16th - 17th century SPANISH or FRENCH word for "BBQ". badge is long pig on a spit)) THE SIX PACK (PA traders-raiders-mercs for hire, and no there are not just six of them! there are six allied bands, each named after a popular pre-PA brand of beer, totalling around 50 bods.mess with one band, you mess with them all! badge is, well, a six pack of bottled beers) WILD ONES (wasteland psychos, bandits, and marauders. no badge adopted) MATA HARRY (aka MR DEATH. a solitary wastelands wanderer who leaves a trail of corpses behind him) WIDOWMAKERS (a gang consisting completely of hard bitten, PA women, all man haters and competitors for the fair sex. badge is male sex organ with a bar across it) POISON IVY and SWEET SUE ( a couple of wastelands adventurers; IVY is big, mean, and dangerous, SUE is small, sweet, and dangerous. they are sometimes accompanied by a man named JOCKO who appears to be their comic relief sidekick, but is in reality a stone cold killer when wet work needs to be done) BOY and DAWG (BOY is a very ordinary looking wastelands wandering youth, but he has some very useful esper mutations. DAWG is a huge black mutated canine the size of a black bear with intelligent looking yellow eyes. DAWG, too, has esper mutations and is smarter than a lot of wastelands folks) okay, i shared some of mine with you, now it is time to share some of yours with me (and others). DAWGIE

My active gangs are The Cult of the Star (cultists), Locusts (highwaymen), Scanners (psionics), Tubeway Army (wasteland warriors) and The Family (cannibals).

POISON IVY, SWEET SUE, and JOCKO are a much more dangerous trio than XENA and her sidekicks ever were! PA SETTLEMENTS, right now i have maybe a dozen of assorted sizes and types scattered about the map. since i am playing this out solo, only when a previously unknown PA settlement, homestead, outpost, etc, in the WASTELANDS encountered do i bother to note its location on the map. at present only the area around CARUTH HAVEN VALLEY is detailed out. HOWEVER, there are some larger towns and military bases that are marked on the map, but no one has been there yet. DAWGIE, in awe of MATTBLACKGODS detail . . .

Remember the Kop shop and Cultists fighting over the park campaign I had posted on the landing? The rest has sort of grown from what minis I had and what mood I was in. Not to mention the inspiration from books and movies. Only just starting to get the maps out of head and on to paper. In addition there is Brittannia city - (bunker city that got its inspiration from the history of a certain Earth empire) Aryanriche (bunker city that is inspired by the teachings of a certain Earth dictator) -note the bunkers were seeded and experimented with to see what would happen. Brittannia city rules it as a colony). The forest of Noooo (a strange twisted forest to the north that is haunted by a strange warrior cult). The Zone - (a area to the south of the NSR that they want to control. Its the place of the Stalkers, monolith and Razorheads) Doom Valley - you have all heard of. The ORCS - ( a genetically engineered warrior/bio weapon) Shazzangazza - (a set of mysterious ruins) The Dragons (a wasteland gang opposed to the Red Sun Corporation) The Golden Petals (another all girl gang who hate the Red Sun Corporation) Red Sun Corporation (still in its bunker but its raiding parties go out to grab wastelanders for experimentation) The Outcasts (Nomadic gang) Rogues (Raiders gang of the Liberty Wastes) Ghenis Kants Raiders (the most useless warband in the wastelands) MAD - a squat road warrior/hero. More of a title than a name. Insanity Bob - Human Road warrior/Hero. Trader Claus - a trader Trader Tommy - another trader The Wastelands Engineering and Construction Company (everyone hirs these guys to build/fix stuff). Hammers - Nomadic Squat Engineers that wander the wastes repairing stuff at each place they come to for a price. Lancre - small set of villages high in the hills that survive as they are difficult to get too. My notes on various gaming pursuits, aspects, scenarios ideas, painting, terrain, blah blah blah are all over my office. So, I think it's time to put it all in order!!!

I have long commutes to work and sometimes days with little to do whilst waiting for stuff to arrive or get fixed. The mind tends to wander in a attempt to stop it melting down. Beleive it nor not, that ISNT the complete list....there is more places and factions. Maybe I should knock up a novel....
