Here's something a bit different for you, Victorian sci-fi in roughly 1/900 scale or 2mm! These images are from the manufacturers site.

Land ironclads!

Flying ships!

Tiny troops. These are cavalry. They are more detailed than you'd imagine and instantly recognisable from across the table by the block shape.

If expansionist Prussians aren't enough trouble for your empire you can also try your luck against Martian forces though I'm told the chances of anything coming from Mars is a million to one...

Cheap scenery blocks let you place whole towns, cities and forests on the table.

Just thought you might be interested in seeing them. Prices run from 25p for 3 strips of infantry to £3 for a big ironclad and it's small enough to keep several huge armies in a shoebox. You can also find real world ships in the same scale which is great if you want to fight a naval and land battle at the same time.

Bridage Models for ironclads, flying ships and martians.

Irregular Miniatures for infantry, vehicles and scenery for all eras.

I'm not associated with either shop, I'm just a fan!

Lachlan has got some of the Aeronef's, and they are very nice little models. Certaily something which I have considered expanding into! (It is also worth noting that Wessex games do some aeronef style fliers)

I love that album :P

I've been eying off 2mm Napoleonics for quite some time now... Its really a fun scale to game in. The VSF looks awesome too. Very steampunky with some awesome sculpts. I've also been keeping an eye on Brigade models' starship range... They have some really nice sculpts that would suit Full Thrust perfectly :)

I do like the Brigade model's ranges.... Although at £3/4 per aeronef, they seema a little expensive... although Im not sure how large they are. The Ironclads also look great.

Here's a pic of a couple of mid size gunships with a normal sized base for scale, they do vary quite a bit in size though.
