These figures hold a lot of mixed emotions for me. One the one hand, they are the best 40K figures I ahv ever done. On the other, the reson they carry that grim gothic nastiness is that I was in a eal mess when I painted them. I won't go into the details, but lets just say teh I was very angry, hurt, depressed and vengeful... and I expressed it in my modelling.

I had always said that I'd sell them, as they conjured up to many negative emotions. Well, I got my camera out fully intending to do so... but I couldn't. It may sound a bit sad or pathetic, but too much of me went into them to really be able to sell them. But I thought I'd give everyone a chacne to take a look. They were all painted as characters, often with names and backgrounds. I'll leave those for now. The figures represent a range of characters from the inquisitor game or Inquisiton codexes, as well as a unit of zealots.

The last 2 sets of figures were painted at a later date, and just don't seem to capture the feel as well as the others, despite having been assembled at the same time. I have some other that I also made then, but never painted. I'll keep hold of them too, and hope that I'm never in the mood to get them quite right again....

I can understand that, some things you make you put so much of yourself into you don't want to get rid of that. Definitely not to some oik on fleabay anyway. They have come out great though, I really like the Mordheim miniatures. Like the goliath cyborg too!

lovely and grimm. i love the militia conversions the most.

why don't you base your minis?

Zed
zombies shuffle. humans run. shouldn't humans always rise victorious?
funny that

because they rarely do.

It's Hagrid! :D

Nice collection there, some sweet conversions!

I do understand where you're coming from, I can't get rid of all the GW armies I've converted and painted, one day perhaps they'll see the light of day when I don't feel disgusted with myself for using them!

Some nice stuff there, and interesting conversions. I can understand you not wanting to get rid of them. I should really sell on my 40K RT Orks, but as my first army I cant seem to part with them. :D

You should set them up as a wasteland dump. Maybe we should have a naming competiton for the place and character names?

I love the gun on that Terminator... I can't for the life of me figure out how you did it though :P The others look cool too. How does Inquisitor play anyway? Anything like Dark Heresy?

The Inquisitor in Terminator Armour's gun is the stub pistol from the 54mm Delphan Gruss model. I just cut it off at teh hand & swapped them over!

Iquisitor is a great little system for cinematic gaming - most of the rules play through well, and easily, but it tends to bog down with more than 10-12 figures on the table. (There are simplified rules for grunts which makes this a fair bit more manageable) From what I've een of Dark Heresy, it's Inquisitor with a few more bits added on. The rules were released on PDF for free a while back, so if you can find it I'd recommend having a look!
