Nope, they're fine as is. The goal was to get them done as quickly as possible AND be able to move the figures around inside them. May not be as visually satisfying as bricks, dirt, sand and other textures tossed about, but the figures can stand on whatever floor they're placed, even using my ham-sized mitts. :(|wink:

Great work, man. I appreciate the play-ability of the buildings. And if you're happy with 'em, that's excellent.

Personally, I would introduce some faded color variations and floor patterns to break up the gray. Small detailing like posters, graffiti, rubble chunks in out of the way places introduce smaller "miniature scale" items that reinforce the realism while keeping them eminently usable.

But throw all that in the big 'whatever' pile - it's excellent work.

Nice work, I repeat Dentatus' comments. Posters and signs are a nice way to add detail without losing playablity.

AWESOME!!

I love how, when they're all laid out like that, there's a clear pattern to the destruction; the buildings closer to the camera were closer to the airblast. :)

In this last piicture you can see the three pieces together. The office building at the th front, and the two halves of the factory can be separated for variety. The fron office can stand alone. The other need the office, each other or a table edge / corner.

Good gravy!!!! I saw the first 2 pics before I saw the text. I thought they were inspiration pics of actual buildings. And that is not hyperbole.

Wow! Are they scratch built? If not, they're still awesome!

Mmm... That was what I meant to say in my last post.
Instead I started babbling incoherantly about shinyness and possibly boobies :$

But yes, a thread!
And of course a thread for the 28mm Soviet riflemen who accompany that beautiful T34, no? ;)
