whether he did right or wrong things whether he is hated or loved by you whether you (like me) think he is simply a living legend. Michael Jackson is dead i feel we should all just take a moment to realize this is a major loss. im not literally implying you stop and think or whatever but simply that you acknowledge that it is a terrible loss. i for one will be working out some kind of tribute to him this weekend. TW (p.s. don't bother posting any kind of MJ hate messages here. that would be just sick) |

Well, he was certainly an interesting man. Whether or not various rumors were true, he led an interesting life, which is a lot more than most people can claim. I also second Thriller. Probably the best song he ever made. |

its nice we can all be civil i posted the same thread on lead adventure and some of the guys over there chose to let this spiral out of control. bringing up the paedofoliia case and what not. At the end of the day another person died. its a sad thing. and im so glad everyone here is civil enough to acknowledge that. Zed |

LAF isn't usually too bad on that front - the Prof usually closes those sorts of convos down, but often not soon enough. TMP & Frothers are worse. These last 2 are a good argument to keep gaming forums for talking about gaming and related subjects; but hopefully we will never get to that sort of state here  I think one advantage we've got here is that we are quite a small and tight knit community, so we tend to know the other people fairly well - and people don't tend to want to piss off people they know... |

I was never a fan of his work nor the man. He appealed to some people but I never understood the hype that seemed to follow him. I hope he finds peace and balance in the next life. |

cool man. i like beat it to. but billy G...awesome. well you know Each to his own. and all that jazz. and i agree VLD the community over here does seem (smaller) tight knit and people tend not to argue. i went over to frothers once and a few posts into every thread someone was getting rowdy. kinda shocked me! i tell you one thing though, Andy over and terragenesis keeps a very tight show. sometimes to tight. its a bit annoying. hehe, wrong thread to make that joke in, considering the -intended- topic and his legal history i wasnt a fan of his music and his face kinda scared me, but i'll admit that he did alot for music, and anybody that can reach world renown deserves a bit of respect with their death. RIP |
