Wow - this is looking good. Great work so far. Those capacitors look good. I may nick that idea for my trading post when I build it.

One idea I saw in a western model was a barrel of weapons and firearms for trade. All you need is a plastic barrel and then load it with weapons.

Of course the ammo will be locked up. You dont want your wastelanders doing a Terminator and killing you with your own stock!

For my trader I use the Ramshackle El Honcho mini. No one will short change that dude!

What i've got so far on Elle's kitchen. the hut structure is planned to be the actual cook house and I intend to base up a few table and chairs or picnic tables to scatter around beside it on the gaming table.

I had a couple of empty tape rolls laying around and decided to bang up a quick little build out of them. the "door" is a magnetized curtian made of glue soaked tissue with the top end rolled over a pair of rare earth magnets. the curtian rod is a bit of wire salvaged from a chineese take away carton handle.

the roof is a shape cut out of plastic sheet with crap glued on top of it. I tried to "key" the roof to the stove pipe and small post on the front. now the roof doesnt fall off every 5 seconds.

I still have not decided how to go about finishing the stove atm its just a coke cap form a 20oz bottle

no progress on the old stuff, shame on me...

instead a new piece! Seeing as how there are alwayse paramilitary groups of some sort and vaults/bunkers floating arround I thought it was time to start working on a bunker entrence.
Its nothing special, heavily inspired by fo3 type hole in mountain covered with a scrap wall at the mouth of a cave/tunnel. I thought I'd make something similar as a corner piece. Finally getting to use some of that nice 2" thick pink foam ( my mother was kind enough to stop and pick me up some while she was up north visiting family over the holidays)

heroclix vaultie for scale.
the white is foamcore with the papper pulled off. Its just there to give me a smooth surface to glue in some corrugated card pieces and a door to.

Whoa that thing is huge!! My first terrain was the lonely mountain from the hobbit, built it out of paper mache. Not the greatest choice of materials because come winter out in the country all the mice head indoors.Let me tell you I can sympathise with those dwarfs ,you think goblins are hard to get out well you should try mice.Pink foam is an excellent material though, easy to carve and cut and no anoying little white beads every where, excellent start.

got some color on this thing, jsut a quick shot with my latest painted mini to show how the painting is coming. I hope to get some nice dead/dieing/dry colored static grass for some of the cracks and arround/under the walls. I still have the ladder and whatnot to add in the black square as well.
