So this is pretty much as it says on the can... Post some of your best roleplay stories or dialogues. Anything you've done to really break a module or have your players driven you just far enough for you as a DM to slay them with the 'Hand of God?' ![]() Here's a conversation I had with my DM a couple of weeks ago. I was playing a lvl5 Ftr/lvl6 Rogue. Me: I check the door for traps... Er, perception of, 29. DM: Your search turns up no tracks and the door doesn't appear to be locked. Me: Alright, I open the door and... DM: *interupting* Ok, save or die. Me: Er, sorry? DM: Save or die. It's really quite simple. Me: 12? DM: *shakes head* Me: Oh dear... |

Hehehe... nasty. Last night we had a ship to ship battle in the air. There was a large passenger Air Ship travelling form London to Paris. A small shadow passed over the deck. When the PCs looked up they could only really see a small nebulous shape in front of the sun, so they couldn't stare at it too long. Before they knew, some grappling hooks were being attached to the deck. The Prussian boarding party attacking the Airship swung down the ropes and, when they were 10 - 15 feet away, let go of the rope and activated their small jet packs. This launched them on to the deck of the ship and then a John Woo style gunfight ensued. It was pretty cool! Edited by Christian, May 1 2009, 02:54 AM.

That's just a kinda cool story... I'm after those awesome points of an adventure that no one is going to forget anytime soon ![]() Like the time when my PC's were faced by a Black Dragon that I expected them to run away from. Did they? No... They hit it with every spell and ability they could think of that would lower it's Will Saving throw and then 'suggested' it fly into the side of the mountain at full pelt. The big bad guy of the adventure was dead before they'd barely started... Bloody Player Characters... Grr... lol |

Oh, in that case... I wasn't on this adventure but the PCs went on to a train that had all the luggage stored on the back. They were just meant to use it to get from one point to the other or something. Anyway, the sneak on to the last carriage, subdue the guard, then break the cupola so that the train kept going leaving the goodies behind. Imagine the poor DM having to roll a whole train carriage full of loot :/ |

Heh... I would have just told them they'd hijacked the luggage train of costumes for the upcoming musical, Gay. A gay musical about gays. But then I'm cruel like that

I'd have come up with something similar to Bens suggestion - maybe have them in the luggae car carrying all the bags for the Orphanages summer holiday to the beach or something. and then if they continued to search have something worth while in the last bag... |
