Hmm... I can't really comment as my monitor is being a bitch and the contrast is horrible. I can't really make anything out. Have you considered sending the pics of your Russkies to Nik at Eureka? I reckon he'll be happy to throw them in the gallery

She's look freaking sweet, the necklaces will look brilliant. I think you're right on the mark with your additions. The only thing I can suggest would be to add a knife strapped to her shoulder pad, just to make it like the pic. As for colour, I'd go with the artwork including the face paint. |

Ah, cyberpunk. One of the best sci-fi subgenres. really liking the work you're putting in to this, have you considered adding some not-Deus Ex characters? |

Right-o. I was thinking about the knife and the thigh high boots, but i'm not sure how to go about that yet. The knife is a definate though and maybe another bang od hair. Deus-Ex characters could be a possibility, though i think i'd like to Elvis the Sanctioned Operative next or Chantele the Nun. |

Wow, this thread is a blast from the past for me. Forgot about Jazzbaux in the prvious posts, shes next on the painting block. I never thought i'd be back at the Cyberpunk project, but in the last month i've painted 3 more factions and some hover drones, no pics as yet. I've been designing and playing with some Cyberpunky rules for CR3/5150; like a campaign booklet. Have been going it solo so far and found the rules fairly addictive. I may need some help with power scaling vs resources issues, so i'll post in the rules section and beg for some help. Starting a campaign with a party of six next week, so i hope to iron them out some more. Also, i whipped up a city street in the last week which i have pics of. Started with 3mm MDF and cut the shapes out of what i needed. It all ends up fairly modular. The primary ingredient is foam that packed a guitar in a bow. All the pieces are formt he same foam. So i cuts it up, made surfaces flat and smooth with plaster and sand paper. Then painted over it all acrylic enamal mixed with plaster of Paris. Hopefully i can get it painted in a week or so. Once there is some decent paint on the peices i'll post some batreps.![]() ![]()

Nice looking table. I look forward to seeing it finished. This table could even be used in a Sci-Fi style PA setting such as Fallout or mine. |

Here are my latest factions. I'll admit i'm not spending as much time painting 28's anymore. After rediscovering dry brushing while doing 15's i've kind of kept the style. Here are some Hover Drones. There are 5 other Drone types from various manufacturers that i'll flash as they get done. ![]() These guys play as the MNU megacorp. The least high-tech of the megacorp factions. ![]() These guys play as Gen-Tech. Full cyborgs with full heavy armour and lase carbines. A common random event in missions with these guys is the C.L.A.Ws. A kind of combact walker by victory minatures. And when i say Random event the C:AWs has turned up every game. Brutal. ![]() Some sewer rats from EM-4. I put the road warrior with them to have an extra hero type. Commonly seen as wastelanders on this forum. I haven't written them into the rules yet. I was thinking of making them a Gang Cult sub-group, but i may make a full squad list with quests like the other factions. Perhaps an anti-tech cult; Reality Now! ![]() And a nasty little random encounter for most factions. The Neo-Sovs harvest them for technology so they most commonly turn up in their scenarios. They hunt in threes, but i make the number random because they are quite tough.

For me a huge part of cyberpunk is cyberspace (thinking of Neuromancer and Shadowrun). Are you going to use it in your games? And if so, how do you represent it? And your figures are superbly painted! Edited by sherman0815, Jan 14 2011, 11:36 AM.

Great looking miniatures, I love cyberpunk stuff. In one I used to play all the cyberspace stuff was represented by shapes like I think a pyramid was a security module. Maybe if you wanted to add a hacking subgame or something you could use polyhedral dice to represent different parts of the cyberspace? |

Great painting and I really like your bases, simple buy very effective. Dry brushing works well on minis with a good bit of texture and its quick!Really liking your terrain as well,I'm in the middle of planning out my board and I will have to nick some of your ideas. |

Oh mannn! How had I missed this thread until now?! Sweet stuff mate! Some interesting (and cheap!) cyberpunky miniatures here: http://shop.eastridingminiatures.co.uk/corporate-wars-55-c.asp Lovely looking factions, I like the idea of the anti-tech guys. Unplug now! Human bodies for human beings! etc. Where are the purple dudes from? |

@Sherman. Hacking involves a type of Reaction test known in 2HW products and involves giving up their action. An assumption is that all the models in the game either have enough tech on them or in them to be manipulated by the Hacker in some way. In game terms this translates to causing friendlies to fire on friendlies or for the whole group of Punks to receive some Stealth from the target. The range is limited, but can be increased by getting gear. Also they can just Hack terminals for cash if there is nothing to shoot. Bad rolls involve Stun checks or security arriving. It is a fairly powerful ability considering the game mechanics involve shooting at targets behind Cover. I may make the Reality Now! immune to the Hackers manipulations. I've posted the campaign rules we are using which aren't complete in the rules section. The fonts i used my make them hard to read so i'm doing a pdf version. The Purple Cyborg guys are from Victory Force Miniatures. I have been tempted by the Slicks and Interpol from East Riding Deserter. And now for some Punks, old and new. Some of you may remember Metal Head Mickey and Johnny Mayhem. I've painted up the rest of the Chronoscope, Infinity and Vor stuff. I think it's enough Runners for now. I'm keen to paint some more factions, but i'll be getting stuck into terrain next. It may take a little time to finish off the buildings so be patient for the next update. (Top to Bottom, Left to Right) Ron Batty; A quietly spoken yet deadly rogue Simulant. Ever since daddy Gen-Tech whipped Batty and the rest of his sibilings up in the test tubes his nerves have never been easy. Even after the mind blocks were removed by Zhora, he's still been prone to psychopathic and deadly out bursts. Never when he's on a run though, that's easy. He just finds buying sandwiches and talking in a good natured manner difficult. At least he never raises his voice. Skull X Most of Skull X's friends know his real identity as Herman Grasby. An avid net comic fan with a taste for cyber muscle replacement and grenades. After doing 3 tours during the Desert Wars Herman ran out of decent enemies to kill. His 3rd tour was such a cake walk he turned to Running. Now he gets to kill corporate employees in spectacular and creative ways and the megacorps only pay for the best troopers. He loves his new life as Skull X. Metal Head Mikey; see previous posts about the former Neo-Sov Cyborg. Gristle; Gristle hates the term little people. And since his muscle grafts you better call him a dwarf. He may be compensating for his height with the uber stoggies and the monstrous automatic weapons, but he has always loved small things. Small things like assassin drones and hunter/killer drones. He loveingly keeps the little machines going, a great deed which he finds "embiggun's the smallest man". Tall Amy; Gristles woman Tall Amy is just as good with machines and all things small, like Gristle. Though Tall Amy likes the big things that all girls like. Like Cars, 'Copters and Panzers and she can turn all of them on a dime. Candy Kazuki; knows drugs and has most of them. She owes her trim figure and teen flesh to Dr.Tyrells rejuve drugs. Any self respecting octagenarian has done so. She's nimble enough to take up Running for her next treatment and serves as medic and alchemist, brewing nasty cocktails to get the Punks through the hairest scrapes. [call me sick but i had to paint the models painties because i knew some dirty bastard would look up her skirt.] ![]() ![]() Leon; maybe the largest Simulant you have laid your eyes on. Leon is reknowned for falling into the hands of Simulant Hunters then slaughtering them all. He just isn't that smart and listens to Batty & Zhora for advice. Leon was a combat model and kept most of the gear Gent-tech outfitted him with. Zhora overode the saftey on his weapons which helped him escape the Simulant Crib with Zhora and Batty in tow. Buzzsaw; is a prime example of cybernetic surgery addiction. When Buzzsaw started Running he put the essentials in his body and left it at that. He recieved a string of jobs with payment in cybernetics and used all the credits slowly to transform himself. He still has plenty of credits to use for services, but he stopped the implants when he started to black out and wake up in gore covered rooms. He has enough Heat on him without being hunted by ESWAT as a Cyberpsycho. Zhora; is Batty's and Leon's matriach. She freed them from Gen-Tech and has looked after them since. Zhora was a Hacking model Simulant and used the ample skills given to her to free herself and her boys. She seems to have a close relationship with Kirby 5, but doesn't share the nature of that relationship with anyone. [insert jokes about android peckers here] Jazzbaux ; Gladiatrix for the Psycopomps Gang Cult. Recently Jazzbaux has found herself in an alternate reality. In her astute words; "Everything is the same, but different". Her Running crew just let her continue her jabberings and chalk it up to drug abuse. Any challenge on their behalf usually involves one on one combat. And hey there could be alternate realites. Jonny Mayhem; see previous post on the Ganger come running Punk. Kirby 5; started life as an A.I. specifically designed to protect the Cyber Dyne HQ. He had limited sentience, perhaps that of a dog or other pet, untill Gen-Tech used Simulants to run a Black Op into the Cyber Dyne HQ. Kirby 5 tangled with Zhora as she hacked the buildings defences. She used a program to destroy the prototype A.I, but it increased Kirby 5's sentience and doomed Gen-Techs run to failure. For the favor Kirby 5 took away Zhora's mindblocks in exchange for securing a Kirby Drone for the A.I. enabling him to escape Cyber Dyne. He disabled security for Zhora and has been at large ever since.
