You have been productive... the Armorcast is piece that has painted up well.

The formcore piece is a really good introduction to beginning terrain. I know the reason I don't build too often is that I "bite off more than I can chew" in regards to projects. I may build a few of these just to get my hands wet. What did ya base 'em on?

I am a big fan of crumbing ruins that just look like broken teeth sticking up out of the corpse of the old world.

The base is foamboard - it was left over from the rework of the stalker tower. But you could cut your own or use a CD as I have in the crumbling stalker ruins. Then its just cut up the foamboard or corrugated cardboard from a box and make your ruins. They are simple and quick to make.

Now from the dungeons for your (least)* favourite* Warlord (* delete as applicable)...more crumbling ruins! Well rubble actually if you want to split hairs. Well actually more like huge blocks of stone....

This is floral dry foam cut up and PVA glued to a CD. Makes nice blocks and it is easy to carve. The downside is that it crumbles easily. However - soak it in a PVA Water mix (about 50:50) and let dry. Its then solid as a rock. A 9" x 4" x 6" block costs around 75p or less. There is also wet floral foam which is cheaper but seems even more crumbly.

The other side.

Another one.

I am looking into using this stuff for other terrain bits.

You could use it to build the runis of a really old (read: really really freaking old) wall/building I suppose...

Massive block construction used around 1500 years ago sort of old.

Just cut each block out individually (hence using massive block construction, your less likely to go crazy... err... crazyer...) and build a wall with some blocks broken/fallen...

Thats one idea. I was thinking about cutting it up into rough chunks and building a wall from it, in a similar style to dry stone walls but made from bits of smashed concrete.
