I've got to say: I love your work Marcus!
After recently coming from the 'Games Workshop Hobby', it was nice to find something that was the polar opposite of what I'd become accustomed to.

Hope to hear more from you! (Or at least have more updates on your site to stare at in wonder.)

Thanks. Glad to see there are some other escapees from the GW asylum. Been to the game store lately? I haven't seen any new shennanigans from them lately. Not much by the way of new lead models. They're milking LOTR to death and are focusing their energies on their online game. The character market belongs to Reaper anyway.

Been playing around with Vue 7 lately, which has gotten me going on the comic again. Those things take a long time. I've created the 1st page, and I've attached a render of Lazarus Thorne, a post apocalyptic religious fanatic (in the grand tradition of Thulsa Doom). Hope you like them.

Dear God, a man after my own heart!!

Comic pics look sweet, I'd assume they'd be relatively time consuming.

Yeah, they can be. I'm using comic book creator, which is fairly efficient, but the poser stuff and background renders take a while. Sometimes I'll use photos for the backgrounds, but I have to work with 'em in Photoshop to post-apocalypticize 'em (a Bushism?). That takes a while too.

Pics from Somalia, Lebanon, Pripyat, all good locations for the post-apoc junkie to draw inspiration (and backgrounds) from.

Here's another one. Remember the classic computer game "Wasteland"? I put some elements of it into my comic now and again. Remember those "Desert Dweller" mutants? Here's my version. Poser Mike3 figure with a lotta morphs and custom skin by yours truly.

Man, I spent hours playing Wasteland.. still haven't finished it after all these years..

But, I'm now reminded, I actually need to sit down and go through your comic fully.
I sat down and had a glance, but I'm normally leery of the 3d strips.. I may just make an exception, in this instance.

Marcus = Kalebdaark

I think he mentioned it in his first post, but, it was pretty easy to miss.

And, I have to ask: Where did that mini come from? I don't exactly need a Max Rocketansky, but, I can always use an 'Ian' or 'Random greasy wastelander in leather'.

He's the new one from Reaper, Rex - Dark Future Hero.

Here's the pic with him and the car. Converted die cast toy.

Sometimes you just gotta paint a mini, y'know?

I gave a look for him... the Max wanna be... at my LGS, but no luck. Though I may have found some decent vehicles... new 1/50 scale Hot Wheels, nice retro look to 'em, and they seem to be a good size.
