So No Mercy's about a chick in a car right? Well, why would it stop so she gets out and blows the crap out of the wasteland? I mean, when you're playing Fallout2 for example, every random encounter pulls you up and you get out of the car, even if the more sensible thing to do would be to run over those rats or drive right one by those floaters. So my question is, why would the car stop, what could be some logical reasons? |

Um.... thew car is really tempramental and keeps breaking down? Then the stuff wonders up whilst you're fixing it? Its the only logical reason I can think of off hand! |

You don't want to risk damaging your ride, repairing damage to you car might be next to impossible. Do you risk your car getting shot up a little or do you get out and deal with the threat......that and you might like the taste of fried rat. John Edited by Earl of the North, Mar 9 2009, 03:59 PM.

Yeah I see your reasoning Ross. Ammo is rare and expensive. So you want to get out and ensure you dont waste ammo flying by? Your character is a despardo of the wastelands and her mind set is very different to ours. Personal danger and risk may be all she knows. What we see as a chance to flee may simply be a oppotunity for her to test her skills. In many ancient warrior cultures it was seen as a dishonour if you did not face a challenge to combat. Honour was the most important thing and for some cultures dihonour was worse than death. Perhaps in the new savage age were danger and death is a daily (and often hourly) occurance the old warrior standards return? |
