Haha cool! How's the cork handling being used as base board? Is it warping much?

Actually, I haven't had any warping whatsoever.
I think it's thick and solid enough to not be overly effected by the drying paint, even though it soaks up primer like a sponge.
Gets nice and hard after a good layer of cheap spraypaint too; haven't had to worry about flimsy -anything- so far.

Ahhh methinks I used too much white glue!

Well that's a bit grim ain't it? :P

It would make a good scenario objective. Someone is being held for execution and the party are required to get them out of there... They could sneak in the night before and sabotage the rope, or they could wait till the last minute for a blazing rescue :)

Hmm... that's a pretty good idea.. I was actually just going to use for.. well, 'flavor' but I may as well get some utility out of my work..

And Ross... how the hell do you manage to get cork to warp? Maybe I do things strangely, but even coating an entire piece with glue and crap didn't do anything ..

Must have been the glue I was using I guess, I pasted it on thick, stuck me sprinkles to it, painted it, left it for a couple of weeks and it ended up warping at the edges a bit. Not terrible if it was on it's own, but as they were to be dungeon tiles they're noticeable side by side.

I'll just use a different base board, just haven't decided on what yet.

Possibly, I'm in no hurry to get it done so I haven't really looked into what's good and available at the hardware store.

I use hardboard as a base baord - that seems to hold up to the rigours of terraforming fairly well...

Yeah, though it was either Wargammer AU or the Ammobunker, I haven't put any D&D in the Underhive I don't think.

Synchronicity... I recently stumble on your deleted Ammobunker postings. Though most of the photographs and such were the same you have posted here I downloaded them for reference. (Hope you don't mind)

I don't mind sir, as long as someone gets use out of them instead of me just putting them up to inflate my ego :)

That's why you're married isn't it? For someone else to inflate you're ego?? My belly get's in the way of any self-inflation.
