Woo for alliteration!
But, some quick pics.
WIP is my current project; the outskirts of any 'civilized' area, going out into rough plains. Which is why the grass is so tall. I've seen (And been in) grass and reeds that went near to, or above my head, so, it's not much of a stretch.

The 'eagle' is a bit interesting. I was walking in my back yard for a quick smoke, and heard a random 'crack'. I look down, and there's a gaudy, broken hood ornament thing. I picked it up and took it with me.
I plan on making it look like an old statue, most likely of government or private origin, turned into a town's centerpiece, or a Tribal shrine of some sort.
Pays to keep your eyes peeled, I suppose.

Wicked! That's alot of scatter terrain there, you'll have a tables worth without adding to it already!

I like the eagle idea, what about popping the broken wing on the base as well or is that bit MIA?

The other wing is probably ground inches into the mud by now, if it was even there... thing is, I don't even know how it got into my bloody yard to begin with. ^o)

On the terrain, I figured more would be better, you know? ;)
Still, kind of sucks, seeing as;
A: I don't have a gaming table, and
B: No-one around here games.

I'd be tempted to try and sell everything once it's done, but, terrain doesn't seem to go for much. Only thing I saw was $600 for an entire city, 13 -awesomely- converted matchbox cars, and a unique ruleset in one bundle.

More is always better!! You could give Dan's solo rules a go, there's fun to be had even if you're pushing models around for both sides.

Huh... Solo rules, you say?.. Are they on here, or do I need to go searching?

Oh, and, working on a larger dwelling. Basic shape just 'might' look familiar.

Haven't gotten much done on it, -yet-. Trying to lay the floor planking down at the moment, before finishing up the walls. I'm hoping it'll turn out pretty decent.

Thanks man!
I'm putting my current constructions on a temporary hiatus, though.
No, I'm not being a lazy bastard; it's cold, raining, and supposed to start snowing for the next few days. I don't like not being able to prime something once it's done, so, I'll try to finish painting what I've got, and maybe few mini's, too.

Nice terrain you have there. The eagle is cool. I look forward to seeing more.

Yeah - they are in the rules section attached to the Solo Rules thread. Although they are written for Combat Zone they are pretty generic and can be easily modified for any rule set. If you need a hand sorting them just give me a shout. I developed them as I am in the same boat here. No gamers - other than the GW fanboys. :(

Yeah, got some more corrugated stuffs to work with..
Still, been sick as a dog the past day or two, so, I haven't really gotten anything done.

Probably what I deserve for chasing the dogs out back without shoes on. In the snow..
Yeah. ^o)
I've got attractive Jap girls playing awesome music to make me feel better!

I've got another mini nearly done, and, I'll try to get a few more finished soon. I'll give the solo rules a boo, or just stick with Fallout PnP for a quick bat-rep deal. Maybe get wild and try some Skank..

Lucky boy!

Skank rules are great for real quick games - as there is no paper work. They pretty much cover everything you need. I use them when time is short. Just take care not to use too many figure as it can slow down (I am talking 30+ a side here).

I have to ask..... you haven't got some poor Japanese girl with the voice of a nightingale chained up and forced to sing in your room for your pleasure have you?

Pfft, my monitor's the lucky one.. ^o)
(Youtube... yeah.)

I'll need too take another look at Skank.. seemed nice and lethal when I looked, but I didn't pay -too- much attention to most of the mechanics.
Still, I've gotten to where I can do Fallout's ridiculous armor calcs in a few seconds, so, no loss if I do it that way.

Think about that, Ross.

Would singing be the first thing on -your- mind?

Skank is great... even with large forces you can garuntee that after a couple of turns there will be next to no one left.... As for Fallout PnP... good luck with the armour calcs - I keep planning to program the function into my graphical calculator and use that to solve it... (but never do)

I've got a Texas Industries TI-83+... Monopoly required a downlaod which I never really got around to, you can also get the periodic table and all sorts of other stuff... As forthe programing, it should be simple enough - just set the variables as A, B , etc & use the replay function to save the equation...

I remember I had tic-tac-toe on my Casio something or other. That took a long time to program in piece by piece. One of the other guys in the class had monopoly on his TI too...

There's some really cool looking terrain there mate. I love all the filler you've got. It reminds me of that random encounter map from Fallout with the crossroads and destroyed buildings. Make a couple of slightly more intact buildings and you're set for life :)
