Yeah; I got lazy on the packs and skipped a step, as you can see.
That mid-tone brown makes a big difference in the overall appearance, and the highlights weren't consistent anyway.
Have a load of WIP stuff at the moment, so, I should have some more pieces up soon.

Hey those trees turned out really damn good!

Very spooky. I usually get hung up on adding branches and all sorts of things, but they really look the goods.

How's your stuff for the client going?

I didn't get back in touch with the guy: real life had me for a loop for quite some time. My Mum's surgery came up right about the same time I had to get ready for Uni (which fell through last minute) combined with ever-persistent financial woes, and blah-de-blah.

I 'have' gotten back to work on it, but I still don't have the material to completely finish it. I figure I'll get half of it painted up, send him the info, and see if he's still interested.

And, while I should post all of this separately, I'm too bloody lazy.
We have: The reason smooth paint is bad! (For primers, that is. I tried painting over an 'oxide', and it just wouldn't take anything well. Waste of time.)
I'm doing a bit of everything with a few lengths of chain-link, and some Ross-esque corrugated walls. I'm working on a slightly different type of building: I can pull it apart to do interior work, then glue it together when I'm done! It's far from finished, and won't have a footprint, so I can stack multiples inside each other. I've figured out how to fill the gaps in cardboard, so I has a ready source of material. I did a small shack with a footprint for kicks, and, some over-scaled acacia-styled trees, that still need some texture for the bark.
The last pic? My ever growing to-do pile. That's about half of it.

i really like b4, are those fence type walls or walls for a building?
The sun went down and the ground started sort of grinding.
A blinding light tore across the sky.
A cyclone swept the landscape and left it completely flattened out.
And several twirls of smoke unfolded like gigantic flowers.

The way the morning broke was quite unusual.

Fence-type walls.
Wanted to do some similar to what Ross showcased in his Popon/No Mercy games, so I got cracking on a few. The fronts aren't much to look at, but I'll just get wild with the rust and tags. Need a few (Heh. Understatement.) more for a 'normal' table, but I need to get a bit more varied in their appearance.

That is quite the pile of unfinished stuff you have waiting for some attention there!

It's all looking good Dyma, nice and ramshackle, I particularly like this image:

What Ross said! :D

You have some nice stuff there. Nice work. For the shacks it seems that all you need is a couple of washes and a drybrush to finish. Shame about the red oxide primer. I have used cheapo stuff before and never had any problems.

The lazy-arse bug has bitten me, and I haven't gotten much of anything (Read as: Nothing) done.

The primer surprised me though... everything I use is cheap, even the spray for my minis (And ironically, it works better than the more expensive brands I've tried.), and it generally does the job and then some.
Oh well.

I like that color of the bases, and really like that fence.

Your terrain looks nice and gritty. I like the rusty base too. Shame its a plastic mini, I am sure we could have worked in a metal/rust joke! :D

Mixed as in "mixed in a pot" or as in "stuffed it up"?

Great looking additions Dima, I might have to fly over for a game if you keep this up!!

'Mixed' as in 'Tried something new'.
Got a whole 1(!!!) piece done, tried to replicate the previous recipe, but I think I forgot a step. Oh well.

Gorgeous? Pfft, yeah, right.
:$

Three more sections of cinder-stained concrete/rock wall.
Had these laying around for a few months, and finally decided to paint 'em up.
Surprisingly enough, they actually go together quite nicely. Woot.

I like the mood and feel of your terrain pieces. Brutal, dark and desolate. It's like Death Metal. :)

I missed seeing this update.

Looking really good, is this for the modular wall sections you were planning a while ago?

Alright, three post's worth of pics coming up..
And they're a bit disappointing.

I've been touching up a lot of my older stuff, and getting newer things finished for sale, but, I haven't been able to get even half-decent pictures. These are the best out of the past few days.
I'll have some with the flash on for various 'sets' I'm selling. (These will be in my Marketplace thread.)
