Hello all, Hope no one minds, I followed aluangel over here from the Wargames Factory forums. There are several names here I recognize from other forums. Mostly the Underhive. About 3 years ago, a long time friend finally talked me into wargaming and I've been hooked since. Most of the time our gaming group is just us 2. Occassionally his wife, brother-in-law, or brother (when he's home from the military) play as well. Currently we're playing a skirmish game that mixes Necromunda and Gorkamorka. Basically just humans, Orks, and sometimes vehicles. I'm gradually stearing things from the strict confines of the Necromunda setting to a more generic sci-fi wasteland setting. Fortunately my friend isn't a GW only stickler so we have a variety of minis from alot of sources. Recently, I've gotten pretty excited about the possibilities that Wargames Factory present. I've never been shy about mixing parts from fantasy minis with sci-fi and I'd love to have another source of plastic besides GW. I've really enjoyed looking around the forum and hope I might be able to contribute something. I don't have an abundance of creativity of my own, but I am good at finding new ways to apply other peoples ideas. Con |

Welcome aboard.....personally I will use figures from anywhere if I think they fit in, I mainly use GW plastics for parts. Althrough I have a pile of Orks that are going to become mutant raiders at some point. John Edited by Earl of the North, Feb 10 2009, 10:20 AM.

Welcome aboard! Its always nice to see new faces in the bar. Bar mutant - a glass of rotgut for the new guy and make it the good stuff - you know the stuff that doesnt make you go blind. You may know me from over on the underhive..... I use any figure I find too - the cheaper the better (no smutty comments now!). I WILL make them fit my background! Even if I have to modifiy them. I have been thinking of Orks as mutant raiders for some time now. I tihnk they make a kind of fallout style supermutant nicely. |
