Stumbled across this site

http://www.therubberduck.net/fallout.html

I'm not really an RPG'er in the pencil and paper fashion, but it looks like its extensive to my eyes, although Im not sure if they are any good. I might give it a whirl if I can find enough people to play :P

:pipboy2:

*EDIT* after looking at the "In Character Moved" thread:

In a D&D forum I frequent on the odd occasion they run a plethora of RPG games like the PA ones we've got, they run a couple of threads to go along with the story ones, Equipment, Character Sheets, Chatter etc That way if someone is going awol for holidays or just wants a query then they post it to let the other players know.
Though for this, each story/adventure has it's own board with an additional moderator in the form of the Dungeon Master so he can edit things, edit maps, and generally upkeep of his adventure.

(though they also have a random dice feature, so they actually play pretty close to a face to face game)

Maybe a use of these Fallout rules in a simmilar sense? Provided they're any good.

So THATS where the fallout pnp stuff ended up! Its a great little system, although resolving damage & decreasing accuracy with range is a real pain. It was my first introduction to PnP RPGing.

There are a fair few addons, and different ways of tweaking the skill sets, etc. Its certainly worth a look, and it would actually work really well for a online RPG as trhe rules are free. Now just need to find a percentile online dice roller....

(BTW: If anyone does fancy running a 'proper' online RPG rather than the free form ones, count me in!)

I'd be more than happy to join in too, but I have no experience with anything like this. :$
