Thankyou fine sirs! Sort of a spec ops group, they're intergalactic travelers who happen to lead the good guys/apes(reds). They had to travel by space ship as opposed to teleporting like the blues so probably won't show up in my games for a while. |

Cheers guys, loved that mini from the first time I laid eyes on him! It's an Urban War Pointman from the Synth force. A mate and myself grabbed the starter Man vs Machine set and I grabbed the machines. I haven't painted any of them, but they're a really fantastic look to them that reminds me of some 90's comics. The Jerry is from Eureka's Dog Faced G.I.'s (which should be released any time soon), there's a little diorama comic strip piece with the jerry getting hit in the gob by Big Boss (or Hard Hat, I can't remember which) and a comic book styled "Biff" or "Bampf" or "Thwap" across the front. |

Thought I share some WIP's of terrain, now I ballsed up this sucker like you wouldn't believe, it has a list of faults as long as Xander wang, and from what the girls tell me that's pretty long.... anyway, before we get side tracked on that topic, here's the shots... I had trouble as the roof didn't line up properly, but I discovered you can sand corkboard without any ill effects (or so I assume...), now it fits pretty well ontop. I'll try and mask the join with a trim on the bottom of the top section. ![]() And I've been busy adding interior detailing: ![]() ![]() ![]() It's going to be a freaking slow process to build a town this way... |

Ross your work, and attention to detail is what makes your scenery so cool... Do you have a box of detail parts made up before you begin a project or do you make those as you go along?? Are you going to add glass panes to the windows? More pictures! More pictures! |

No, no magic box of nifty bits, though you may have a fantastic idea there!! I just slap it all together as I go, which can make the process take ages as I hunt for hours for that 'one little bit' like a door knob or a box or cup or something insignificant like that. There'll be no glass in the windows, I'm hoping to try smashed glass all over the ground. I've never done it and I had an idea how to achieve it so this'll be an experiment. I may have to spend some time making 'terrain filler' like boxes, mugs, cereal packets and the like, it'd save some time later down the track! |

Nice! The cups and details make the terrain truely awesome. Is corkboard a good material to work with?

It has it's limits, but thus far they've all been reasonable. With the discovery of sanding it means stuff that doesn't line up exactly can be fixed easy. |

I have been experimenting with the clear plastic blister pack material associated with Hobby Shop miniature packaging. I seemed to have read that idea somewhere on the net, so I won't take credit for that idea. The box of habitation bits could be generated during idle minutes when proper scenery work time isn't practical. tinker |
