I like the crates... They can easily be used in the Wastes as temporary shelters, if you disguise the stencil on the side.

What? There's isn't a Neuschwabenland in your Post Apocalypse? Then where do the flying saucers from the Nazi moonbase land?

Al,

I know bad Tinker... There are no real political groupings in my Wastelands, just religious fanatics so far.

It is the wastes and rumors from traders are some groups never before encountered are moving into the fringes. But until they start entering various kingdom states the powers that be are indifferent to their existence in public. In private the various warlords and kings are attempting to gather information and develop alliances.

They are looking good Ross. Maybe this could be a new aryanreich weapon system. Drop infected zombie virus mutants/folks on the enemy. :D

Yeah, I can imagine it'd be like the boats from Saving Private Ryan's beach landing, as soon as the door opens the whole thing gets riddled with bullets.

Ha... Wouldn't happen the first time round though :P
The Allies would probably think they've been lucky enough to steal a supply drop.

Yeah, but I f###ed up LAF, I didn't put a chimney in and at the time I was running out of base boards so I kept going. The whole building is 75% FAIL and it's been a hell of a job to get it looking half decent.
I'm taking this building as a big learning curve, for example, I've learnt that I'm never going to build my own house! :D

And yet to me it does seem a lot more than half decent. Nice Job! :(|thumbs:

Yeah, I'd say that if your 75% fail is that good, I'd be seriously intimidated by your 100% win!

Ross, you sound like me bud...hard on your own ass.
:spank:
If it ain't a fukin epic, if it ain't damn near perfect...well, then it just sucks.
:frustry:
I can make it better!

Right?

We need to get over that just a bit.

Your buildings and your figures are as good or better than at least half of all of the models that I have ever seen...posted anywhere...by anyone...period.
:slap:

Keep working bud.
I like to see what you are going to post next.

IN WEST GERMANY, at a farm near HANAU, in 1966,
i actually saw with my own MKI eyeballs, and held in my own MKI hands what i now know is a PANZER - LUFT rocket launcher. it was in very good condition and part of my girlfriend's family war memorabilia. never saw another until about 5 years ago on the www.

the collection of weapons and etc, brought home by the landsers was not what i thought it would be. it had 1 K98 with scope, 2 MAUSER self loading rifles, 4 "SCMEISSERS", 6 P-38s, a double barreled breech loading handgun (which i thought was a shotgun but was told it was a flare pistol and light grenade launcher), the LUFT FAUST, and a really strange looking LMG, similar to, but not an MG34 or 42 but one like i have never seen before or since.

her DA, older brothers, and cousins all fought in the HEER in WW II, in AFRICA, FINLAND, RUSSIA, ITALY, FRANCE and finally in GERMANY. the LUFTFAUST, one WALTHER P38, and one "SCHMEISSER" SMG (cannot remember its real designation and maker now) were carried by her DA all the way from NORMANDY to HANAU as his unit(s) were pushed ever backwards by the ALLIES. at HANAU, he and some other long time landsers from area became civilians after the unit lost its last battle and was scattered to the four winds . they just retreated to his family farm, buried all of their weapons, ammo, gear and uniforms , becoming stay at homes unfit for further military service after being wounded. many years later i often wondered if they were actually part of the WEREWOLF resistance movement.

the LUFT FAUST had a history; five days before the last fight, DA's unit ambushed a small AMERICAN mechanized patrol, wiping it out. he used his LUFT FAUST as a light anti vehicle weapon (as usual) knocking out a half track and a gun jeep during this fight. seems like DA never used it s an AA rocket launcher, but always in an anti personnel and anti vehicle capacity.

DA i never met; ditto for 2 of her brothers and a number of older cousins. they died during the war or afterwards due to ruined health and war injuries.

as i remember, the LUFT FAUST had 6, maybe 8 or 9 20mm rocket launchers, and from what i understand it fired salvos.

i often wondered just how many WWII GERMAN and ALLIED weapons, with ammo survive in modern GERMANY in the hands of civvies, and completely unknown to the government.

Interesting story DAWGIE - I don't know about whats left floating around in Deutschlandt, but a mate of mine back in school was clearing out one of the barns on his dads farm and came across Grampy's old Sten gun; still active and with several spare magazines (although no ammo). Seems it'd been issued to the home guard and then never handed back in... Don't know what happened to it in the end; but I doubt it went to the police...

That stray LMG wasn't one of the air-vented aeroplane models was it? (Mg-34ish barrel, no stock, unusual ammo feed? Or possibly something they had assmiliated from someone elses aresenal?)
