Knock Over My Tarot Card Tower, I'll be Pissed.
Ciri was dancing in a small clearing as Tori and Kasi searched around for interesting stuff. As she was dancing, Ciri noticed something shiny and what not in a rock, and decided it was going to be hers. She walked forward, but someone decided to object. While cracking its fingers, a rather mean-looking Machop came out of no where, ready to beat Ciri to a pulp. Of course, through telepathy and all that jaz, Tori instantly knew her psychic partner was in trouble. "Kasi, let's run!" Tori and Kasi took off, and soon enough they ran right into the scene of Ciri dancing out of the path of the enemy's cheapshots. "Oh no! Ciri, we have to battle this!"

"Kick-butt, Ciri! Hey, we should do that some more, eh?" Ciri smiled at her trainer, bringing her the nugget she'd found. "Awesome," Tori grabbed the chunk of gold, throwing it into her bag. "We'll sell it for some money!" Ciri smiled, hugging her trainer's leg. Tori's plan was to continue here, but there was nothing really to do right now. We'll back track on it later. Ciri was returned to her poké ball, but Kasi was still out, of course. Tori and her ghostly partner ran right toward Tectonic City.

A ambush group of Ten (10) Machop ran right toward poor Tori and the ---is. Before she could even gtfo, Tori had been surrounded by the little chops. "Kasi, Ciri, help me!" Kasi floated forward, getting ready to defend his trainer. Ciri the Ralts appeared from her poké ball, also ready to help.

Oh look! A Super Potion! *bag* Tori could tell her pokémon were tired, so she decided to let them rest yet again in the tent. Zzz.

Awaking first from the group rest, Auci the Embegg was ready to start training for EVOLUTION! Tori woke up, eyes barely open as she looked out to witness the Egg in Nest beginning to make battle with some blue thing. Unsure of if it was a dream or not, Tori cuddled back up in her blanket, but after about a minute, realized she needed to actually help. The trainer sighed, throwing her shirt over the tee she'd worn to bed. "Alright, Auci, let's start now."

Tori went to grasp Auci, but it seemed as if she wanted nothing to do with the human. Of course, Kasi was going to talk to the egg best he could, but he made no promises. Tori plopped down near the tent, watching the others sleep. Ciri and Poji seemed to be quite friendly with each other, but the lamp-thing known as Wuni was just kind of sitting there in the corner. Suddenly, the lamp turned toward Tori, and magically appeared right in front of her. "Wo, that's like awesomesauce!" However the pokémon did that, Tori seemed to be quite fascinated with it. Of course, something rustled in a near by bush, and that always ruins the fun, right?

The female trainer noticed that this duo was weak right now, but defiantly had a powerful potential in double battles like this. Tori liked the idea of that, but right now just wanted to get the basics of her team down. "Alright, here's the low down, team. Kasi Gastly, the licking Ghost. He's poison, ghost typed, which means he won't be taking any damage from normal type attacks, but with his move pool he can't strike normals. It's tough, and right now that's one of the few types I can't hit for times two damage.

Next up we have Psychic Dancer Ciri, who's just as described. She's quick, smart, and can launch a nasty confusion with same type attack bonus, which is good. Her weaknesses are ghost, dark, and bug, but we don't need to worry about them much right now.

Auci Embegg, although you're newer, your ability to attack seems well, and you work great with Wuni the Mystic. The last battle went over well, and I think you'll be hitting hard like that again quite soon. Aside from the dual weaknesses to rock and ground, there's not much we need to worry about with you two.

And last, but not least, Poji Snowhat. She's sweet, and very balanced. Her ability to launch those Powdered Snow moves are quite good, and I hope to train her up soon, but not so soon."

For honestly the first time since all coming together, Tori's team crowded around each other, getting to know the faces of the others. She hadn't done that bad putting together this team. Hopefully it would all work out good. While walking toward a bush to look for some more pokemon to battle, Tori noticed a Oran Berry growing, which was quite a nice item to tack on to Wuni, later. Of course, Tori used another potion on the lamp that randomly teleported to her side. She'd heard something in the bush, and the two went to approach it...

BUSH RATTLE ENCOUNTER!

Wuni the Mystic was sparking with some sort of power, which Tori was totally digging. "Awesome, this must be thundershock! Tori wasn't a know-it-all at pokémon, but her Tech sure was. Thundershock was indeed what the Bol had just learned. This should make training a bit easier. Tori wanted to go on training, and so she did.

Of course, another potion was mandatory, but this time, Tori decided to use that Oran berry she found and to equip Wuni with it.

And Zach's out for the count. Tori's turn was up, but she just let everyone rest in the tent again.

I feel so
Claustrophobic here
Watch out
Now you better disappear
You can't make me stay
I'll break away
Break away

Tori was fully awake now, and had started out the morning with a bit of exercise for herself and Kasi. As the two raced around, the rest of the ---is remained at the location of the tent, just kind of keeping guard and stuff. Tori had come to a huffing stop, but Kasi seemed just fine. "Whew, that was one work out, Kas." The ghost simply nodded, floating closer toward the rest of the group. He was looking toward everyone when he started to speak.

<"There's these things over there. They're called Happiny, and I hear they give major battle experience if we battle them. The problem is I can't hit them, and they're defensively stacked to deal with the attacks like Ciri and Poji can use. Wuni would probably have a hard time fighting back with them, seeing as they won't do too much damage with bide. So that of course leaves Auci.">

The group eyed each other, but they also came to the same conclusion that Kasi had. The ghost just floated and waited for one of them to announce it. Ciri was the first to break the silence, <"of course Auci can take this battle."> And it was settled, the Embegg would be taking this battle against those creatures Kasi spoke of. All of the pokémon made their ways toward their trainer, hugging her and such. Well, Auci and Wuni just kind of stood in front of her, and really didn't say anything, but still. Tori looked around, and then determined they'd worked it out. "Good job, Kasi. Alright, Auci, let's go!" Kasi gave his trainer a nod, and then Auci a nudge. The egg began to roll. Or hop. Whatever.

Tori walked by, no need for a battle. She was on a mission to get where she was going, and nothing was gunna stop her yet.

So Tori now had her first badge under her belt, and was headed to get the next one. Too bad she was tired from all the excitement. Tori set up her tent, and got to resting.

So. You say I do easy battles?

K. I'll show you an easy battle.

Tori and co woke from their slumber which took 8 hours (yes it did) and were now up in perfect day light. Yesterday's gym battle had been a challenge, but it was a challenge worth half of the team getting battered over. Of course, Tori felt a need to train her party, and Ciri was getting first dibs.

Ciri was all excited to win a battle on her own. Tori hugged her pokémon, and sprayed a potion on her. Now that Ciri was at full HP, it's time for incredibly easy training part two!

Spoiler: click to toggle

Tori scratched her head. In that one battle she'd used four potions, which is like 1,200y. Now, if that wasn't 'a tedious battle' Tori wasn't sure what was. She didn't care how much is cost, though. As long as Ciri was leveling up fast that's all that mattered. Oh, and Tori used TM Water Pulse and taught it to Poji. Yeah, she can learn it.

Tent time!

Tori poked her head out of her tent, Ciri joining her. Both of them looked around a bit, but figured the cost was clear for them to get out and train. Ciri's psychic radar quickly picked up on a group of ten more Gulpin rolling around in sludge close by.

Right after this battle, a group of ten Machop were around, expecting revenge. Pfft.

Now, within the last two posts, Ciri had gained 2,000+ EXP, which would be a reward from the little end of the week thing had Zach "NOT DONE EASY BATTLES, LIST YOUR DAMAGE EVEN THOUGH X400 DAMAGE IS AN APPARENT OHKO. YOUR ROLEPLAYED OUT STORY IS BY YET THE MOST EXTENSIVE OUT OF ANY CHARACTER IN THE RP YET, BUT THE OTHER'S ARE STILL HITTING HIGHER THERE!" Yeah, Zach was doing something wrong, Tori guessed. Oh well, those prizes were little now, no point in trying for them.

Tent again.

((Jokes on you if you're to take it seriously. Remember, srsbsns.))

Some sort of magical force granted Ciri an extra 1,600 EXP, which was enough to level her up! Tori gave the little psychic a hug, but immediately wanted to get her back into the training routine. However, Tori needs lotsa potions before she could do that again! The trainer headed back to that one city she came out of and I don't remember the name of.

Tori's back. With a vengeance. Or ten more potions. whatever. Ciri immediately got back to training.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Tori sprayed her little Ralts with a potion, sighing as she did so. "We need to find enemies that grant more experience for the cost of five potions." Ciri agreed. She didn't like being hit anyways.

Suddenly, Machop, hundreds of them! Or maybe just ten.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Ciri did a dramatic-esque fall into Tori's arms, who placed her in her poké ball. After a few minutes, the tent was packed and Tori and co were headed toward Tectonic City.

Tori and co left this route because Ciri could blow more stuff up later on, and get more EXP from it.
