The site can be a little overwhelming at first which is why we have the Pokémon Voyage Welcoming Committee. This is a volunteer position that gives you no in game benefits or on site power, but it is a good way to make the site a better place. Members of the Committee will post in every new member's Hello topic with non half assed or copy and pasted welcomes and will have the job of helping the new people get talking and figuring things out on the site.
