Ok, so this is the newest team I made, just because I was bored... typing this out takes longer than constructing the team.

Sketchy Gle - Smeargle Jolly 96 HP 120 Def 42 SDef 252 Spe Focus Sash

Baton Pass
Block
Spore
Encore

Start off the chain.

Dreamy Vapor - Vaporeon Bold 252 HP/Def 6 SDef Leftovers

Surf
Acid Armor
Baton Pass
Roar

Usual Defpass.

Hummy Cele - Celebi 252 HP 128 Def/Sdef Bold Choice Scarf

Baton Pass
Trick
Toxic
Leaf Storm

To trick the hell outta the opponent.

Bolt Dos - Zapdos 252 SpA/Spe 4 HP Modest Leftovers

Thunderbolt
Baton Pass
Subs
Agility

To pass speed.

Raging Zor - Scizor Adamant 252 HP/Def 6 Atk Leftovers

Baton Pass
Bullet Punch
Subs
Swords Dance

To pass attack boost, and get some quick kills with Bullet Punch.

Strike Lad - Gallade Adamant 252 Atk/Spe 6 HP Muscle Band

Close Combat
Earthquake
Psycho Cut
Ice Punch

As the name implies, to strike down the enemy. Given the large movepool for gallade, this set is just one of many.... although I do wish gallade gets extremespeed.

So... what do you think of this team? Any suggestions to make it more awesome?

Edit: updated from total fail that is the last team. what do you think?

I don't see any mechanism for allowing you to take hits/stopping status. Only one pokemon carries substitute, and Ninjask's substitutes carry only a tiny amount of HP. In this case, then, a Choice Scarf Trick will ruin your team, even though it could have been prevented by a Substitute.

Taunt will really screw you up if your opponents know that you're running a Baton Pass team, which Ninjask gives away easily - and many leads have that move.

The instant a competent player sees Ninjask, I'm guessing they will either Taunt or send in Skarmory to Roar you away. Therefore, you need a lead that is both offensively threatening, but can also pass speed boosts.

Here's what I used on my old baton pass team:

Zapdos @ Lum Berry
248 HP/136 Def/88 SpA/36 Spe
Modest nature (+SpA, -Atk)
- Agility
- Baton Pass
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute

This will scare away opposing Skarmorys, and packs enough punch to make opponents think twice about "wasting" a turn using Taunt. Your +SpA nature and 88 EVs should get your damage output enough to seriously threaten the more frail users of Taunt.

You can choose to replace Substitute with Hidden Power Grass or Ice, whichever you feel works best in the current metagame. I notice that there are many Swampert leads around, so Grass could help a lot.

Sadly, Thunderbolt only deals 39.8-47.3% to leading Metagross, so you're better off using Agility and then Substitute or pass to Scizor. They'll Stealth Rock the first turn, and maybe try to explode on you the second (they usually only carry Explosion and Meteor Mash/Earthquake), so a resistance is always handy.

In addition, Abomasnow is incredibly annoying; did you know that Leech Seed can be Baton Passed, too?

Sorry, that's all I have for now. I need to get ready for school... bye!

If you read it carefully actually 4 of my pokemon packs subs. And since I went against an Abomasnow earlier, I'm considering to change the EV such that a X-Scissor will OHKO it, maybe that will do. But I do agree that Nin makes it very obvious this is a pass team.

Btw, I'm worrying to death about the set Lad should run, lol.

Oh, right. That was stupid of me. I don't know how I could've missed that.

>_<

If you use Close Combat a few times, it's possible that priority attacks could really mess around with you - especially a super effective Shadow Sneak. Since you don't pack any of your own priority moves, it could be really troublesome.

Perhaps you could consider this moveset:

Gallade @ Expert Belt
20 HP/252 Atk/236 Spe
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SpA)
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Psycho Cut
- Shadow Sneak

I would suggest Lucario as an alternative, as it has Extremespeed and a few other tricks, but the finisher is up to preference. Just about any pokemon, given enough boosts, can wreak havoc on the opponent's team...

I'll be writing more later...

tried shadow sneak before, but after some thinking, I think it's unnecessary. subs is to protect him from prio moves, and assuming I get to pass him the boosts, I need all the power I can to ensure an OHKO. if I don't get to pass, well, I'm ruined. XD no other pokemon can actually attack in this team. so I think rather than prio it's more important for me to go for type coverage, so that nothing resists him. and that's also why I'm thinking about using muscle band instead of expert belt, the boost is less, but it boosts neutral hits as well.

maybe I should go the easy route and replace x-scissor with thunderpunch.

lucario, that's nice... but I think I'll stay with gallade. I have lucario in my other team, and you see... everyone has their fav pokemon right? ^^

hmm, why not use Acid Armor on Vappy instead of Aqua Ring? Just to make he take hits from both spectrums better/to not lose subs to physical attacks easily

I may try this team out. I honestly was going to say immediately forget this team: it's a pure Baton Pass team that doesn't work! Well, I don't know that. I'll "double post" my results sometime later on.

EDIT: Key-word was "may". Sorry, looks like I had no intentions of testing the team out. I've been fading away from the competitive scene...

This team doesn't have Taunt. That would really screw you up, as it won't even let you Baton Pass out when you need to.

I think that you should also use Umbreon, to Mean Look something. It gets Yawn, too, which will let you set up without worry for a few turns. It also has great special defense, so it can absorb hits when necessary.

hmm... after changing some stuff a bit... I got to say acid armor works wonders~ thanks a lot, gato! XD

and also, taunt and encore really ruins this team bad. I need a way to get around that...
scarftrick is already dealt with(kinda).

p/s: updated the team, it's like that now in the first post.

I'm afraid Umbreon doesn't work as well as it used to be, but you could try taunt on gliscor, replacing rock polish.
