Pallet Town
The smallest town in the Kanto Region. Known for some of the greatest Trainers coming from here, Pallet Town is often seen by desperate tourists and young Pokemon Trainers. If he is not in Johto, Professor Oak is in his laboratory researching the many wonders of Pokemon.

Viridian City
Viridian City is the first area in the Kanto Region, though the Gym Leader is often out and away. Other places of interest are the Trainer House where you can gain knowledge and strength, and the path west of the City leading to the Pokemon League.

Pewter City
Beyond the Viridian Forest is Pewter City, the gray city of stone. Places of interest are Fossil Museum, and of course, the Pewter City Gym. To the east is the path towards Mt. Moon where a certain rare Pokemon appears.

Cerulean City
The City of Water, there's the Cerulean City Gym there and an old abandoned Bicycle Shop. To the North, is the Cerulean Cape. To the East is the path to Rock Tunnel. Southward lies a Pokemon Daycare Center.

Saffron City
One of the largest cities in Kanto, Saffron City has a Gym, a practice Dojo, the Silph Co. Building, and even a Train Station that heads to Goldenrod City in the Johto Region. North is Cerulean City, East is Lavender Town, South is Vermilion City, and West is Celadon City.

Vermillion City
There are many roads that lead to the port city of Vermilion, and for good reason. In Vermilion is a popular fishing spot down at the docks, and the Pokemon Fanclub also resides here. What's more, there's also a Gym in this city.

Lavender Town
There isn't too much in this small town. There's the Pokemon Memorial building that is there to let the dead find rest, and there is the Kanto Region Radio tower there as well.

Celadon City
A bustling city and the largest in Kanto with many opportunities to entertain oneself here. The apartment building, the department store, the restaurant, and the game corner are all for anyone to go, and the Gym is the place happening for Trainers. To the west is the Cycling Road.

Fuchsia City
Another large city that attracts many tourists. The Safari Zone is the most bustling place here, for a small fee you can catch many rare Pokemon. Also here is the Fuchsia City Gym. East of the city is a long and arduous path splitting midway towards either Vermilion or Lavender. South is the sea-faring path to the Seafoam Islands.

Cinnabar Island
Once a small but bustling city, after an unfortunate eruption over a fourth of the city was engulfed in the lava. Even so, Cinnabar Island has made a comeback as a popular tourists' attraction, as well as a research facility that studies fossils as well. To the North is the sea-faring path to Pallet Town, and East is towards the Seafoam Islands.

Seafoam Islands
An island containing many Water and Ice type Pokemon. Also, this is the place where the former Cinnabar Gym is holding. Gym Leaders and Trainers of all kinds often come to these desolate islands for training.

Indigo Plateau
The Indigo Plateau is where the Kanto Region Pokemon League takes place. First you have to conquer Victory Road: A path practically a race against other Trainers of your level. Many Trainers have tried and failed against the Elite here. Good Luck.
