Behavior Behavioral guidelines are to keep everybody's experience here a pleasant and safe one. 1. Please be polite and respectful of other members. That means, no personal attacks or insults on another member. While you may not share the same opinions nor beliefs, there is absolutely no reason you should resort to personal attacks on someone else. Anything of this nature will not be tolerated. You will only be warned ONCE. Afterwards, you will be banned. If you have an issue with another member, please bring it to the attention of the staff in which you may have a meeting with in the staff. 2. Please use proper spelling and grammar. While we realize not everyone is an English speaker, please try your best to follow the rules of good speech and writing. That means, try not to use tYpInG lIkE tHiS, l33t sp34k, or similar. 3. No flames or wars. This is in accordance to rule #1, you will be banned according to how that flamming war is. Flame wars only lead to hatred, so if you don't wish to be flammed, don't participate in it. 4. No spam. Except in the correct forum. Even while it may be spam, we suggest that you stay on topic. Say something of substance. If it gets too serious, we'll have to close and trash the thread. 5. Do not direct link. It is bad, rude, and did I mention bad? Any and all of the download links here are not to be shared or direct linked. If your friend(s) wants to download something, refer them to this board. 6. Try not to use profanity. Let's keep it clean here. 7. Do not insult the anybody. If you have a problem with a (staff) member, you can bring up the issue with the staff. If you make a thread/post insulting anybody that turns out too overboard, you will get in trouble, so if I where you, I wouldn't bother doing it at all. Posting Guidelines While each forum will have its own set of unique posting guidelines, keep in mind some general things: 1. When posting a topic, use a descriptive and relevant subject line. 2. Don't start a thread with just one sentence or question. Try to engage fellow members in conversation. Say something important and ask for feedback; try to add facts, or opiniongs. Start conversations, not "yes/no" questions. 3. Please don't use polls excessively. You should know when to use them or not. 4. Don't spam. If you spam just to raise your post count, guess what? It's not going to work, on the contrary, you'll get in an issue. 5. Mark all spoilers. If the topic you're posting has a spoiler, we have the spoiler tags, so it's quite simple. Enough said. 6. Do not double post. There is a "edit" post feature so be sure to use it! All double posts will be deleted and excessive double posting will get warned and eventually banned! Also goes with threads themselves. Use the SEARCH function located at the right side of the navegation bar. 7. Do not post images larger than 300x300px in a post. If the image is larger, post a thumbnail. |
