I just wanted to ask for help and wanted improvements on my current team. Help is GREATLY APPRECIATED. Some aren't from Unova though. Deal with it. >_> I want help on item/move choices and anything else you can offer. I know I mainly have sweepers cause I can't go into it. Don't go into IVs and EVs. I'll do that later. I'm also not going in for natures now either. I got my Ampharos because once I battled a guy with one and he practically swept my entire team with it and I was like amazed. Also I know they aren't all 100, but I just put them as 100. [100] [ Bright Powder/ Quick Claw ]Moves: -Power Gem -Thunder -Signal Beam -Thunder Wave [100] [Item Needed]Moves: -Inferno -Psychic -Shadow Ball -Energy Ball [100] [Item Needed]Moves: - Hone Claws - Crush Claw - Brave Bird - Rock Slide [100] [Item Needed]Moves: - Earthquake - Crunch - Stone Edge - Bulk Up [100] Moves: - Calm Mind - Surf - Ice Beam - Air Slash [100] [Item Needed]Moves: - Dragon Dance - Dragon Tail - Earthquake - X-Scissor/ Night Slash Please help. I might change Suicune later. What I mainly need are suggestions for different pokemon/ movesets/ strategies. Ampharos is EV trained in Special Attack and Speed. Suicune is EV trained in Special Attack and Special Defense. |

Instead of Dragon Tail, I would probably give it Dragon Claw. Also, about held items, I would give someone with large type coverage an Expert Belt. Probably Haxorus or Chandelure. I hate this team, no offense or anything. It's basically all sweepers and a wall. One last thing, I would get rid of Ampharos and Suicune. With them, it's basically just a team. Not some special Pokemon White team. You can't even get either of them normally in the game. If you were using something look Drifblim, or Solrock, it might still be considered a Pokemon White ingame team, since they can be found in-game. /end rant Anyways, yeah. Get rid of the 2 Johto-mons and the team will look a lot better. I would recommend Galvantula (CompoundEyes, since Unnerve is very meh) and Carracosta as replacements. |

Why you hate sweepers? I'm not going super strategic until I get some stuff. I'll take away Suicune. I don't want to do Gavantula because it's so expected. I hate how Carracosta looks as well. Even if they're strong. Would it be good if I switched Ampharos to Eelektross? I'll also take out Braviary. I decided it sucked. XD Switching with Swanna. I might switch something for Reuniclus or Musharna too. Actually no. I'm keeping Ampharos. It's EV trained and took too much time to abandon 2 days after I trained it, I haven't even tested it out. I heard Swanna was awesome. My friend used it to defeat most of the Elite 4, and its level was only the the fourties. Also, Ampharos SUX! |

Here are my suggestions: @Ampharos seems really helpful. @Chandelure should have Fire Blast over Inferno. The 50 accuracy is not that helpful. @Krookodile is also looking good. @Haxorus should have Outrage and a Lum Berry. @Braviary is also good same with Suicune. Now for the EVs: Braviary: ATK and SPD. 4 in HP Krookodile: ATK and SPD. 4 in HP Chandulure: Sp.ATK and SPD. 4 in HP Haxorus: ATK and SPD. 4 in HP. EDIT: @Nav you cannot transfer Held Items any more. You can get a Lum Berry from the breeder if you surf across the water in Route 3. A good moveset for Electivire is. Electivire has 123 Base Stat in Physical Attack. You want to take advantage of that. -Thunderpunch/Wild Charge -Cross Chop -Ice Punch -Earthquake. This set covers 14/17 types. Edited by KnightEdge, Mar 26 2011, 02:33 PM.

A Bisharp with, perhaps, Swords Dance, Night Slash, Stone Edge, and Aerial Ace could put a serious dent into your team. Of course, Sucker Punch or Iron Head would make nice replacements. The only thing that doesn't outspeed Bisharp on your team would be the Jellicent, but that can wall most things. Choice Scarf or something like that could help. But, Aerial Ace would take care of Whimsicott, and can deal reasonable damage to Galvantula and Ninjask. Stone Edge would also make Galvantula and Ninjask cry. With Choice Scarf, it could outspeed some things. With 2 ghosts, Night Slash could (though I'm not completely sure) maybe be 2HKOs for them. STAB and the really high attack. Of course, not many people would use a moveset like this. I'm just pointing out the fact that most of your team are vulnerable to just this 1 Pokemon. |

I'm just pointing out that I have all that covered. You see this is why people ragequit against me on Pokemon online. After gaining six speed boosts and about 2 sword dances from Ninjask baton pass my Haxorus's Attack stat and Speed are literally (I promise) over 1075. Lemme get a print screen photo. I could only get in one swords dance so it isn't over 1000 because his swampert kept using Ice beam. But I did get 6 speed boosts and look at Haxorus's Speed. His Attack is still extremely high, but it would've been over 1000 if I could have used the move I wanted without dying. ![]() Oh and to see it zoom in like 4-5 times using Ctrl+ Edited by Noah1111, Mar 26 2011, 08:27 PM.

It looks like Haxorus is about to die. With that amount of health left, and that low defense (compared to Bisharp's attack stat) a Sucker Punch should be just enough to take care of your Haxorus, along with Swords Dance boost. I'm just saying that your team has flaws. For Haxorus, I would probably have Dragon Tail or Dragon Claw instead of Outrage, and maybe a Life Orb. Of course, I guess your way works too. |

But it has Lum Berry. The only reason it has low life like that was because I was against a pokemon that knows ice type moves. Anything else I can build up stats and eliminate. Bisharp doesn't learn a single ice type move so I should be fine. Plus I have other pokemon that can take it out. |

So, I made some slight edits to your team on PO. Steel Bird (Skarmory) (M) @ Sitrus Berry Trait: Keen Eye EVs: 4 Def / 252 SDef / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Spikes - Toxic - Stealth Rock - Roost I use Spikes and Stealth Rock to set up. I also use it to Poison as many things as possible. Then stall with Roost. Spidey (Galvantula) (M) @ Rocky Helmet Trait: Compoundeyes EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Protect - Thunder Wave - Thunder - Bug Buzz Bug Buzz to take care of Dark, Psychic, and Grass types. Otherwise, Paralyze, then Thunder. Protect only under dire circumstances. Pretty Light (Chandelure) (M) @ Choice Specs Trait: Flame Body EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Shadow Ball - Energy Ball - Fire Blast - Haze I actually haven't tried Haze yet. It's mostly for Volcarona setting up. Shadow Ball to take care of Psychic and Ghosts, while Fire Blast for everything else. I even managed to OHKO Ground and Rock types with Fire Blast. Never really used Energy Ball. LotF (Ninjask) (M) @ Focus Sash Trait: Speed Boost EVs: 252 Def / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Hardy Nature - Protect - Baton Pass - Swords Dance - X-Scissor I actually never have a chance to Baton Pass. That's why I gave it X-Scissors. All subs are destroyed right after creating one. Protect just stalls. Swords Dance, then X-Scissor my way out of things. King Jelly (Jellicent) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Cursed Body EVs: 4 SAtk / 252 SDef / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Ice Beam - Shadow Ball - Recover -Scald Scald for Fire, Rock, and Ground types. Also STAB. Same with Shadow Ball, except for Ghost and Psychic types. Recover to heal and stall, while Ice Beam gets rid of Flying and Dragon types. Slice n Dice (Haxorus) (M) @ Lum Berry Trait: Rivalry EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Outrage - Earthquake - Night Slash Swords Dance, then RAEG my way out of everything. Night Slash for Ghost/Psychic. Earthquake for Fire and other stuffs. So far, almost everyone either forfeited, or lost. XD There are so many sore losers who forfeit right I after I break down their defenses. I actually kept track of people who forfeited, since there were so many. 16. SIXTEEN!! Maybe less, since I estimated for before I started counting. XD Edited by RO-SoulLinker, Mar 27 2011, 03:00 AM.

I know this is a thread for ingame teams, but since there are PO teams posted, did anyone want to take a gander at this? Not so much looking for criticism as I am just showing off. This team has a 50% win ratio. I know, ew. Mienshao (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Regenerator EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Hi Jump Kick - Stone Edge - Fake Out - U-turn Chandelure (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Shadow Tag EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Energy Ball - Flamethrower - Shadow Ball - Hidden Power [Ground] Forretress (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 Def Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd) - Gyro Ball - Spikes - Rapid Spin - Earthquake Espeon (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Magic Bounce EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Shadow Ball - Calm Mind - Psycho Shock - Hidden Power [Fighting] Quagsire (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Unaware EVs: 248 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Swagger - Toxic - Waterfall - Recover Zapdos @ Leftovers Trait: Pressure EVs: 248 HP / 228 SDef / 32 Spd Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Heat Wave - Hidden Power [Ice] - Roost |
