|Hello, and welcome to the forums of Pokemon Mansion EX!|
Pokemon Mansion EX is a community for those who enjoy Pokemon, and enjoy socializing with others that also enjoy Pokemon. We are a friendly community and we will accept you no matter who you are. We have many forums related to Pokemon for you to post in, and some even that aren't Pokemon-based that you can just unwind in.
We also host the Rindo Region RPG, where you can join as a Pokemon Trainer to collect the eight Rindo Region badges on your quest to become the Champion!
All you have to do to enjoy these features is to join the Pokemon Mansion EX forums. You will be granted the same right as all the other members, such as being able to post, having your own signature and avatar, and even having your own blog! Plus, it will cost you absolutely nothing. Your profile may take a while to get accepted, but rest assured, once you register with us, you will be in.
If you have any questions regarding Pokemon Mansion EX, you may post in the Chatango chatbox at the bottom of the page, where a staff member will be glad to answer any questions you may have. I hope you enjoy your stay here at our pleasant forum, and make many friends as you experience Pokemon Mansion EX!

If you want to play in the Mansion RPG, first thing you will need to create a profile and wait for it to be approved. The approval process shouldn't take very long, no more than a couple hours (or, if an admin is online, a couple minutes). When you have your RPG profile successfully approved in this forum, you can start your RPG adventure.
Currently there are two different "disciplines" you can be in the RPG, and more will be added as time passes (hopefully). It's also possible to be more than one. They are:
~Pokemon Trainer - Start your journey with Pokemon and prove yourself worthy by raising a strong battle-worthy team, collecting all 8 Rindo region badges and ultimately becoming the Champion.
~Pokemon Coordinator - Live for the grandeur of Pokemon Contests, beautifying your Pokemon and collecting Ribbons and Cups in order to become a Top Coordinator.
You can start either in Groundrock Town, or anywhere else in the Rindo Region. The difference as to where you start is that in Groundrock Town you will obtain a starter from a list (your choice), but if you start elsewhere, your starter will be chosen for you by your topic mod. You can stay in one area as long as you like, and when you're finished in an area, you can proceed to another one.
Each forum has a conveniently placed sticky, so you are given an overview of the location you are about to enter, including highlights, wild Pokemon, and any other pertinent information. Some Pokemon can only be found in specific areas - if a name is italicized, it means you must fulfill certain conditions to meet it, and if a name is in red, it means you must become a Pokemon Champion or a Top Coordinator to meet it.
It is recommended you keep your entire RPG profile information in a blog post. This way, the RPG mod can keep track of your team easily.
RPG topics can be modded by the specified RPG Mods. Currently, those people are:
Modding style: For the most part his style is pretty regular, but he likes to try to find windows to mess with the heads of the people he's modding. He doesn't go totally off on tangents, but he does it in ways that makes both him and the person he's modding laugh. He's also the most-often requested topic mod.
Modding style: Rather ordinary and straight-to-the-point. Will try to progress things as fast as possible even at the cost of not really giving much topic or character development. She isn't really around very often and doesn't mod very many people anyway.
Modding style: Similar to PiplupFan, except he likes to slip in a few puns here and there as well. He also likes to shake things up a bit, so as to keep the topic consistently fresh and exciting.
Modding style: A bit more off-the-wall even than DialgaFan. Likes to slip in his own little wisecracks and makes a TON of pop culture references.
Any of these people can mod a topic; however, if the member has requested a specific mod for their topic, that wish will be upheld. In addition, there are certain areas that certain mods will mod exclusively.
Bass mods, exclusively:
~All the Battle Frontier threads, except the Battle Tower
~All the Special Trainer threads, except Special Trainer #7
~The Special Station
~RPG Event Area
PiplupFan mods, exclusively:
~Any battles against the Battle Palace boss trainer. This may be expanded in future to the entire facility.
KuribohFan mods, exclusively:
~nothing (however he can still mod anybody anywhere else)
Akito123 mods, exclusively:
~Any battles against the Battle Tower boss trainer, as well as Special Trainer #7
If your topic has been ignored for 4 days or more, you can post in the stickied "Mod Me!" topic for your topic to be moderated. Any RPG Mod can temporarily moderate these topics until the standard mod answers.
There are also ways for you to better liven your adventure with Pokemon. There are a few guidelines you must keep in mind before posting:
~In the RPG, effective 2 August 2010, all posts made in the RPG anywhere, be you a player or a mod, must be at least two sentences in length. Any posts shorter will be either deleted, or that poster will be given a warning. Posts involving battles in the RPG may be slightly different, but if you just post a simple "____, use Tackle!", you can bet it will be against the rules. Elaborate a bit.
~The two-sentence guideline is the minimum. It's recommended you elaborate more on what your character is doing or going through, and also expand a little more on his/her personality with each post.
~Likewise, the RPG Mods need to be receptive to these changes in the characters, and present them with new opportunities. Remember, the experience in the RPG is to be enjoyable for them. If you know that they would like something to happen, or want to capture a specific Pokemon, open that opportunity up.
If you have any questions, please post in this thread.

Updated yet again, now that Contests and junk have been added. And I'd like to draw your people's attention to this, which is in the above post:
If I see a bunch of one-sentence posts in the RP, I'm going to start handing out warnings. Capture Arenas are gone now. You have no excuse to rush through your topics.
