| Hello, and welcome to the forums of Pokemon Mansion EX! Pokemon Mansion EX is a community for those who enjoy Pokemon, and enjoy socializing with others that also enjoy Pokemon. We are a friendly community and we will accept you no matter who you are. We have many forums related to Pokemon for you to post in, and some even that aren't Pokemon-based that you can just unwind in. We also host the Rindo Region RPG, where you can join as a Pokemon Trainer to collect the eight Rindo Region badges on your quest to become the Champion! All you have to do to enjoy these features is to join the Pokemon Mansion EX forums. You will be granted the same right as all the other members, such as being able to post, having your own signature and avatar, and even having your own blog! ((I apologize if this counts as necromancy, but generally as long as the OP is active, a RMT has no time limit)) Is this a casual/in-game team? Do you have access to TMs? Are you willing to breed for natures/moves/IVs? Do you EV train? Sceptile: This is a bad moveset. You have 2 moves of the same type, so your coverage is limited. The ideal Sceptile moveset for the 3rd gen is Dragon Claw (TM), Thunderpunch (Move tutor), Leaf Blade and Crunch (inherited from Salamence). First of all, ditch Bullet Seed since Leaf Blade is better under all circumustances. Slam has low accuracy or not enough power, so ditch it too. You can keep False Swipe for in game purposes if you want. If you have a Dragon Claw TM, use it. If you can be bothered to gain enough BPs for the tutor to learn Thunderpunch, do so. Pursuit has a low base power, but can come handy in real life battles where your opponents will switch, so it can be a good choice. Don't use your physical TMs like BB or EQ, they aren't worth it. Sceptile has low attack. Gardevoir: Thunderbolt > Shock Wave if you can. Otherwise, for a casual team, this looks good. Latias: Despite being Latias's signature move, Mist Ball isn't a good move. Ditch it. Surf, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt all can go over it. Rayquaza: Iron Tail is a bad move. It has bad coverage and accuracy. Use the move rememberer to learn Crunch over it. Heart Scales can be found on wild Luvdisc, you can fish for them at the Victory Road waterfall. ExtremeSpeed can also be used. Seadra: Seadra has a terrible movepool, so not much you can do I guess. Surf over Hydro Pump (higher PP and accuracy), and, um, something like Double Team, Smokescreen or Toxic over DD maybe? You have no physical moves, so DD is literally useless here. Altaria: You have all special based Pokemon, so let's make this one physical. You already have Aerial Ace, so relearn Dragon Dance over it. I guess this is an okay moveset. If you had a good Hidden Power like Ghost you could learn it over Steel Wing. Save before doing this. Teach Hidden Power to Altaria. Try to find a Kecleon and use Hidden Power on it. If it is Ghost or Fighting, keep it. If not, quit without saving. |

Threads more then two weeks old are counted as bumping a topic if you post. These threads should of been lock, but I guess they weren't. So please don't post in a thread two weeks old without the approval of a staff member, unless its stickied. Or I'll have to give you a warning next time.

Why so strict with the necromancy rule? The rule on most forums is "don't bump if you don't have anything constructive to say". Three weeks is short when it comes to necromancy - locking topics that are older than that and counting all bumps as offenses does more harm than good. Heck, I'm new here, and I cannot find topics I can post in! I rest my case. |

Its SC's rule for it to be 2 weeks not three, and its also SC's rule to lock all threads two weeks old. If you look at the other topic in here, you'll see I said the same thing. That makes it two times. All forum rules are different, though looking at them, you may be right. I'm not trying to be over strict, I'm just trying to do my job. It's a rule. 2 week limit with threads. Thread creators can ask for a bump of the thread past the 2 week rule. |

Two weeks? That's even shorter. What exactly does that rule accomplish? Rules are meant to make forum experience smoother for members, not the other way around. "It's the rule" can be used to justify anything. Why lock just 2-week-old topics? Unless the topic has turned into a spamfest or everything that can be said has been said, leave it open and let people post. Not all bumps are unconstructive one-worders. Not all members are spammers. As I said, I joined yesterday and I cannot find topics to post in. Edited by Gnaaye, July 5, 2010, 11:27 am.
