The Battle Tower is a huge tower that soars high above all the other facilities of the Frontier. With an innumerable amount of floors, it conveys one message to the trainers who challenge here: aim for the top! There are four modes that you can choose from in the Battle Tower: Single Mode, Double Mode, Multi Mode, and Link Mode. In Single Mode, you will pick your usual team of 3 Pokemon. You will then engage in single-battle against 7 consecutive trainers with random teams. The trainers start off easy, but get harder as you go along, and they will fight under the same conditions as you. Your team will be fully healed in between battles, to keep yourself at full strength for the next battle. In Double Mode, you will pick a team of 4 Pokemon instead of 3. This mode is pretty much identical to Single Mode, except you will be engaging in 4-Pokemon Double Battles, instead of 3-Pokemon Single Battles. Your team will be fully healed in between each match. In Multi Mode, you'll instead only pick two Pokemon. You will then be transported to a Battle Salon where you will find a handful of trainers (around 5 or 6) who also have two Pokemon (they'll tell you what they are when you ask), and are yearning to team up with you. (The trainers are created by the mods.) Once you pick a trainer to team up with, the two of you will then fight 7 pairs of consecutive trainers, each with two Pokemon, and each under the same conditions as you. Note that you can only control your own Pokemon, not your opponent's, and once a trainer has run out of Pokemon, his/her partner will be at a disadvantage! Your team will be fully healed in between battles. Link Mode is the same as Multi Mode, except you will be teaming up against an actual RPG player, and defeating 7 pairs of trainers. Otherwise, there is no difference between Link Mode and Multi Mode. Once you have cleared 7 battles in a row, you will be taken back down to the Battle Tower lobby, and awarded with Battle Points (starting with 3, and increasing in proportion to your winning streak). Should you lose, you will have to start your streak over from the beginning. Once you have cleared a certain number of battles and have shown your prowess as a trainer, you will be challenged to battle by the Frontier Brain here, Tower Prince Daryl. (You can only fight him in Single Mode.) Information about Daryl is detailed below. ___________________________________________________________ ![]() Daryl is a strong a sensible man. He can’t stand when people do things that do not make sense. He is strong-willed and powerful and expects others to be the same way. If he is around others he deems unintelligent, he will treat them with disdain and answer most things sarcastically. Daryl however has quite the dark side, he is a trained ninja of the Haiga clan. Like his younger brother Chris, he does believe in completing his mission and that Lord Koga’s will is absolute, but unlike Chris he enjoys torturing his enemies. The first time you fight Daryl will be for the Silver Supreme Symbol. You will battle him after you defeat 34 trainers (your 5th run through, and he'll be the last trainer). This is the team he uses against you for the first battle. The second time you fight Daryl will be for the Gold Supreme Symbol. You will battle him after you defeat 69 trainers (your 10th time through, and he'll be the last trainer). This is the team he uses against you for the second battle. Once you defeat him both of these times, you will be the champion of the Battle Tower! Edited by Akito123, October 2, 2011, 8:31 pm.
