Name: Toki Cooper Gender: Male Age: 42 Hometown: Saffron City Appearance: Toki is exactly six feet tall, and weighs 167 pounds. He's seen better days, and his face has started showing some signs of age. His face is somewhat wrinkled and worn down, but still rather energetic, especially his bright green eyes. His hair, still almost entirely brown (whether he dyes it or not is unknown), is neatly combed and comes out to a point above his brow, where it's slightly ruffled. His jawline is lined with stubble, which contradicts the rather gentleman-like look his attire holds. He doesn't wear a full business suit, but he does normally wear a nice shirt, a heavy vest over it, and a rather large belt to give him a robust look. He is practically never seen without his trusty guitar, and a Farfetch'd on his shoulder. Biography: Toki Cooper is a name that practically everybody knows, or at least, they know the name 'Toki's'. 'Toki's' is a franchise of rest stops for trainers, located in just about every town and city that has a pokemon center, and it's always located right next to it. In short, the stops are like pokemon centers, only for trainers. Each is equipped with several beds, a kitchen, food, and a few staff members. Even better, all the stops are free for patrons, paid for with taxes. Long before the rest stops existed, Toki was once an aspiring trainer. He didn't make it far, though, and found that fighting pokemon just wasn't his bag. Soon thereafter, he decided to get into business, having let most of his pokemon go except for his Farfetch'd, who refused to leave him as they had spent the most time together and faced many hardships. Toki opened his first rest stop along the bike road years ago, back when it was completely privately owned. Given its success, he could've retired, but instead decided to spread his business all across Kanto. He had enough money by this point, so Toki took the rest stops to the franchise level, presenting it as a public service. He still owns and maintains each building, but the government covers pretty much all of the costs. Content with his lot in life, Toki and Garlic, his Farfetch'd, roam from town to town, checking on each building. If one is lucky enough to stumble upon Toki and get past his mildly abrasive manners, they'd be treated to some good cooking, some stories, and maybe even a song or two on that old guitar of his. Toki also sometimes has things for sale in the knapsack that he carries around with him, which could be anything from a simple knick-knack to some real rarities. Usually found: Toki can generally be found at the 'Toki's' trainer stops located in every town that has a pokemon center. The rest stops are always located directly adjacent to the center, and hold a cozy, olde-style inn look to them. Whether or not Toki will be there is random, but it's well known that he prefers a quieter life now that he's getting into his older years, and would much rather visit the smaller towns and cities rather than constantly be in Saffron, his home town. Still, the Saffron 'Toki's' is the largest, and the most likely to hold Toki when he isn't in one of the smaller towns. |
